That's why I always wondered if her comments are what prevented Celine from rolling it out for concerts... I love Patti's version too (mostly in the latter half of the song)...and it's not like Celine totally reinvented the song, so I could see why Patti got upset. Patti also was supposed to do two other huge hits of the 90s but they got recorded by others first, most importantly I Will Always Love you was supposed to be her song instead of Whitney Houston's. So, maybe Patti feels always stepped over by fate lol. Quote
