I had to look up the lyrics today. I always heard the line "Protects, proceeds, and perseveres, and makes us whole" wrong. I always heard it as something like "for texts, for seas, and bursts of years" or something nonsensical. :giggle: Glad I finally got that cleared up! :laugh:

 

It's "perceives"..

Like I said, when you look in the liner notes of the soundtrack, it says proceeds. I think perceives sounds better though.

i liked how it sounded in Arnhem though, maybe could have been better but it was great to hear that song live. I thought it was the best english concert i had seen so far!

Liner notes to Céline's songs have the tendency to have errors in them :giggle: (look at 'Tu sauras' for example)

 

It was corrected for the calendar limited editon of the album.

 

Sans attendre first pressing also included several mistakes :P

 

Seems an habit now for her French albums :laugh:

Was listenning to the song this morning.

So smooth, delicate. Perfect Disney classic indeed. :wub:

I just woke up and dreamed about the new song and i'm watching it on youtube and the sound is amazing. It's so orchestral. Her voice is still sound a bit forward like Recovering. Well, it's just a dream but it sounds so real hahaha

I haven't listened to this song since 2017. :giggle:

I actually never listened to it, because I think it’s highly broring. The only time I listened to it in full was during the 2017 concert when she sang it live. It was ok, but I don’t feel the need to put it on my ipod or my playlist. Don’t care for it to be honest.

I can't see the song on celine's SPO

 

It’s from DisneyVevo. They didn’t upload this music video or even the song (studio version) on CelineVevo. I think only the live version from her show in Las Vegas

This is where I start wondering about who owns the rights to things so they can be released. Disney probably owns the rights to the song and the video so Celine’s people can’t release it. But Feeling Productions could own the rights to Celine’s live filmed performances so they can negotiate a way to release it that way? Who knows?!

It’s definitely a visual media contracts issue. That would be why Disney has the official video on their channel, and on Celine’s, she has a live performance. Plus, she only has the “official audios” of “Beauty And The Beast” and “Because You Loved Me.” As well as only live performances of “My Heart Will Go On.” Those official music videos have footage from their respective movies. Her team needs to figure out how to get those contracts reworked badly. Many fans want the official clips from an official source.

Damn they should really look at the streaming numbers too when they are choosing songs for a show. That alone would bring many gems and fan favourits back and would make the show so much more interesting for us die hard fans. I'm taking youtube as an example, songs like "loved me back to life", "ashes", "how does a moment last forever", "immortality", "tell him", "taking chances", "alone", "incredible", "have you ever been in love" and "imperfections" and "lying down" too. And for french songs "Parler à mon père", "je ne vous oublie pas" and "I believe in you" come to my mind. Those all would be songs which would please general audiences anytime Edited by ordinary fan
