the reason why Kylie is able to sing live like on cds too, is because are vocals are not overproduced,

 

her voice is more head voice, very beautiful, she can hit high notes, but in her range, a good producer must be able to harmonies' vocals, when singers record a duet, even with different voices ranges

I've never seen her perform live. But I've seen her live. I was in front of the Colosseum in Las Vegas in March 2011 and René was doings some press stuff in front of the entrance.

I was standing beside "some woman" and suddenly lots of people started talking to her and turned out it was Veronic that I was standing next to. I had no clue who she was, but I took a picture just in case I'd become a fan lol.

 

But I personally am excited to see her live

They could film the O2 Arena shows. "Celine Dion Live in London" dvd & blu-ray...

I think Veronic is talented...as a singer. As a voice impressionist...meh. But she is super nice in person. I met her at The Edison Ballroom in 2013.

Ahhh ok. I don't know her that much, just through Céline basically. Like when she performed at Oprah I think. But I've wanted to see her. I'll give my opinion in July

I was hoping for a better support act, I would think the 'two for the price of one' philosophy of a better well known act would help to justify the overly expensive ticket prices. I think most people going to these shows who are not die hard fans will be bitterly disappointed in this.

Indeed, and i think Celine knows it and loves it.

 

Celine's probably like: "its insane how she [veronic] can imitate to almost perfection all those female singers, but doesn't come close to imitate my voice what so ever."

 

It proves how unique and how celine's voice is out of this world.

At the Let's Talk about Love Tour in London, Mike and the Mechanics opened up for Céline. I thought they were really good.

I always go for the opening acts! I'm afraid I'll miss something good. This girl Kiesza opened for Demi Lovato and she was fantastic. When I went to see Troye Sivan, Dua Lipa opened for him and she was great. I got lucky on two different tours with Cher and got Cyndi Lauper as the opening act. I especially love discovering new music through opening acts. Anything to expand my extensive library.

Agree.

I was actually impressed with some of her other impressions like Madonna, Zarah Larsson and Axelle Red. I think a lot of people enjoyed her in Antwerp last year.

Most people don't care about opening acts and will prefer something gimmicky (like Véronic's impressions) over some unknown band singing their own unknown songs.

Usually I'm just too excited to see the main act to care about the opening act. And well here in Iceland I always feel the opening acts are ehm weird lol, in my opinion or some DJ.

 

Does Veronic only do impressions?

This year Phil Collins is being supported by Blondie, Mike and the Mechanics and Starsailor... Céline presents us with a second rate impersonist. It's not a big deal but surely they could offer us something better. Can't even remember the support for the TCWT in Manchester! On the other hand the Corrs in Edinburgh on the LTAL were very memorable!

I went to see Meat Loaf in 2005, the supporting act were Status Quo...Quo were absolutely fabulous, even though they are all almost pensioners at this stage.....Meat Loaf was rubbish, and we left about half way through..

 

However, no one could ever be better than Céline.....

I think Aldo confirmed that the setlist will be (mostly) English or French (like always).

 

I never experienced a good support act with Celine. Tho the impersonator of the TCWT was quite good, it became boring after 2 times I don't know why she had impersonators so many times. Maybe that was a pet thing of Rene? She cws brought people from the Voice or something.
