I'm really really looking forward to the french songs since I've never heard them before on stage but I'd love some of her English songs that she never sings. I

I suspect that the English concerts will be a lot like the Summer tour 2016, instead of French classic songs, it will be lots of great classic English songs.

Gosh..i hope so. But we can be sure the vegas hits iacbtmn tpol and bylm and mhwgo will be on the list at least. Cannot wait to hear many many old and new material!

I think people may not want to get their hopes up. I doubt they will be that creative with the set list. My safe bets are we see the return of "To Love you More" and maybe songs like "My Love" "The Prayer" and " Water and A Flame" .

 

I hope they get deep into the older rare songs like they did for her French material last year but it won't surprise me if it's a very predictible set list.

Same! Something tells me she will follow the formula of the previous tour, given the fact she is in charge now, and go for rare songs. But at the same time, I am not sure she is a secure enough to centralize a show around them. I think all the big hits and usually performed songs will be there serving as the core of the setlist and chances are she will throw a bunch of rare songs around. There is no way she exclusively sticks to her big hits though. They bore her and she obviously needs a break from the Vegas show. Edited February 24, 2017 at 05:34 AM by LukeD

But we also have to think about how many % of the people going to the shows are Real Fans like us. People that buy every cd, listen to ever single song.

I'm not sure that's a huge % of the people attending each concert. Maybe max 50% ? but I suspect it's less. So she will have to sing her most popular hits for the majority.

 

I wish (and it can't be granted) would be for her to have a show for die hard fans only and sing only songs that weren't a huge hit, songs we never hear her sing and songs that she loves (her own songs)

I agree with you. She's nothing to promote this summer (if rumours album is delayed are true) therefore there's never been a better chance to perform rare tracks. This isn't the FIY tour, the LTAL tour or the TCWT. This is simply the "live" tour. She can perform anything!

As far as I want rare songs, I'd like "the power of love" as opening song.

 

But not the same version. An unplugged one with the chorus sung with the head voice... she's been miming it for so long and I don't think she is able to sing it live the same way than back then but still it's one of her biggest hits...

 

I think it could satisfy everybody including her who already wanted to drop it off the last tour...

Right now I can argue that I would prefer I Drove All Night over Taking Chances, but when the night comes it will all be about my excitement to see Celine live. Which is all that really matters! I know I will not care about the setlist.

Me too. You know what..i can remember listening to that song and that i was confused. Thought it was raining outside;) but who knows..last year she really surprised us with rare songs ..so why wouldn't she do that again. I have good hope she will!

This!!!! just reading it gave me goosebumps.

 

NPO has always been one of my favorite English songs... Im sure some of you will completely disagree but I've always found it to be so romantic, emotional, and powerful. And of course now it has completely different meaning for her.
