These concerts are a essentially a break from her Las Vegas routine which definitely contributes to Celine feeling fresh and energetic! I believe the shows will be amazing!

I might get stoned for this, but I'm just gonna say it :laugh: I think they should do PAMP, ONCP, Destin, and JSP on this tour. I missed them last year and honestly I love all of them for such different meanings!

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

Im not that excited about the setlist of the tour, I really want/hope she can surprise me like last year. I think the vegas "hits" will be there :/ but instead of covers we have the opportunity to get new "old" songs.. I really hope she sings I know what love is and/ or then you look at me

My dream list, one that corresponds to the french concerts 2016: i tried to put all equivalent english songs right where the french were; for example Immortality with Immensite, Ziggy with Beauty and the beast (for the adolescent/early age feeling), Tous les blues with when I need you for the sexiness and vocal demands, call the man with je crois toi, etc etc.

So here it is - if sth similar happens, i will die:

 

  1. Next plane out (Acapella Intro)
     
  2. Loved me back to life
     
  3. Thankful
     
  4. Call the man
     
  5. Immortality
     
  6. Et je t'aime encore

She's definitely bringing a lot of English oldies into this tour. I'm sure, just like with the French summer tour last year.

I have booked a ticket for August 3rd which will be the final date of this tour. I find this exciting cause I think Celine will not want the concert series to end! I expect extended speeches, jokes and her to really be engaging with the audience! Her voice might be tired and not in top shape, but I know I will not really be listening because of the excitement of just being there! I am SO looking forward to this day! :-D Edited by LukeD

I think it's great to pick the final date of the tour. If she's improvising notes like she did back last summer it will be better (see Tous Les Blues Sont Ecrits) maybe add songs in the setlist like she did last summer.

I'm 80% sure that the Francophone concerts will focus more on the Encore Un Soir album since she just sang 3 songs from it on last year's tour (4 if we count Trois Heures Vingt).

 

Songs like Les Yeux Au Ciel, Encore Un Soir, Je Nous Veux or L'étoile could be performed onstage very easily.

Omg yes I hope so!! But also hope for some classics.

I almost think I'll be happy with what ever she chooses to sing. But a mix of EUS and classics would be perfect.

It looks like she's a bit emotional while singing MHWGO there. But yeah very cool and I love that hairstyle more than the long hair she has now.

Sorry but I can'f find anything special about that MHWGO video you have posted but for the nice participation she now gives to the audience :unsure: . Other than that, I can only see that her voice is getting very nasal and very low at the same time. Between her July performances and the August performances at the end of the 2016 tour, there's quite a difference in her voice. She really needs to take care of her instrument nowadays, more than before, and not abuse it.

 

I'm glad I'm attending the start of the tour, because at this constant pace she imposes on her performing activity, I don't know what voice she'll have left once the tour is about to end.

I doubt she will sing it live in full since she recently started using a new playback for the song. The pre-recorded track is still fresh! Waiting to be used! :P

You may think the video is anything but special, but just wait until you are sitting in that arena. The energy and emotions take you to another level and you'll be on a high. I think you will find yourself enjoying songs you may not have thought you would. You'll be shaking and vibrating with excitement and I'm quite sure you will have one of the best moments of your life at the show.

Yup, like Ronny just said that was the filming for the Montreal DVD. I would say this video was also sent to selected Quebec TV channels to show clips from it on the news.

It was for the DVD - the francophone one, Live in Montreal. ;)

But it was said that the taping was --- "French one in Montreal (on 31 August and 1 September 2008)" and "The English set list was recorded in Boston (on 12 and 13 August 2008)".
