Celine has released 11 English studio albums, supported 6 of them with a tour, used ANDHC as the foundation of her show, and since TAST and Miracle were concept albums, the only ones to be neglected are One Heart and Loved Me Back To Life, the latter for personal reasons we all know. :mellow: I think she has done her albums justice in general and now she is given a very good chance to sing songs from One Heart live!

 

I thinks she could go for full versions of I Drove All Night and Je T'aime Encore which are the obvious highlights of the album and additionally go for a stripped-down medley including Faith / One Heart / Stand By Your Side / Naked / I Know What Love Is. I think they are very simple and beutiful songs that can work very well together. A medley ending with IKWLI leaves you with a sense of happiness and completion :blush: :)

"Love Is All We Need" was rehearsed for "A New Day..." and then dropped last minute. God, I'd LOVE to see footage of that performance!

Just like she was about "Us," "Miles To Go (Before I Sleep)," "Rain, Tax (It's Inevitable)," "Love Is All We Need" and the entire "D'elles" album. LOL

Ahhhh, yes. The soon-to-be-released-but-never-really-were remixes of "Somebody Loves Somebody." Ugh.

I remember the interview she said that in, I feel like she was just obsessed with the words "grainy", "edgy"", "reverb", and "remix" at that point in her life :giggle: she was so excited about LMBTL and everything, that, well, never was...

Love this song, one of my very favorites from her english repertoire, hope Celine decides that 22 years is enough of waiting and brings it on stage this summer, although it would maybe fit better in the Vegas show

I was thinking that they could actually use her parfum commercial footage (without the images of the bottle) as interludes between the song or as an intro video for the shows. That would be cool!

I have no idea how to (or even exactly where the cassette is). It was called Superstar Music Special and I heard it air around 1998, but it was pretty clear from what they were talking about that it had been recorded around 1994, around the time of TCOML release.

Then it could very possibly have been recorded for Celine's 1993 radio special, in which she presented The Colour Of My Love with David Foster. :hmm:

Watching "La Fureur de Céline" and i kinda miss céline singing "Have You Ever Been In Love" live. Maybe she can add that in her setlist? :)

Right In Front Of You is a great song too..

 

That's why I included it in my setlist..... Céline looked as she was having so much fun performing that song (even though it wasn't live).... :wub:

And it's very upbeat, which she can use more in her live shows....

Since there's no new album to promote, surely we're going to get a barrage of classics and not-performed-for-ages hits and gems!? I'm so excited!

I suspect that the English concerts will be a lot like the Summer tour 2016, instead of French classic songs, it will be lots of great classic English songs.
