I could care less about 2017 being released simply because the show chosen was already after they cut the best songs. I know its release will only lead to massive amounts of bitching from me at least.

Yeah. I agree!! I was at the first london show where we got LMBTL too. I also didn't like that by time they filmed, the reason and the colour of my love got the axe too. At least the reason has been added in several setlists since (and always cut), but losing TCOML hurts!!!

 

Lmbtl got 3 shows...

Tcoml and the reason 6 shows...

Misled, thlal, IYA, my love got just 1 show...

 

2017 was the best show but the setlist cuts were the harshest.

Idk why it always happens.. they could manage the setlist in a way that they just put it all in one or two shows and then remove coz maybe its too tiering, and it must be.. coz if u look at the first concert, most of the songs are live..

i guess when the tour gets into the “robotic way” its easier just to keep the hits and change maybe some songs here and there like “ordinaire”

The colour of my love could be on the setlist for the rest of the tour

There’s some strange facts like.. if im not mistaken theres a place that she did the show must go on and on the other night she skipped the song rushing to mhwgo.

And the last concert in Glasgow she didn’t do pqtme and if u compare to the beginning of the tour its a shame..

the point is why not to kinda manage the songs, not throw it at once..

Oh yes the setlist was good.

It showcased recent English albums and it was a good mixture of the hits, some oldies, and some recent ones.

 

I think in Arnhem she still did the full setlist minus Misled medley, but at the last show I saw in Berlin, most of it was removed

Yeah. I understand it was both probably too late for people to get back home via public transport and such, also, venues have cut off times and if it runs over they get fined big time... that and it could’ve been the case that it was simply too taxing on her voice

That’s why I’m not bothered about not having the 2016/17/18 tours or Vegas on DVD or streaming. There are soooooooooooooooo many fan videos on YouTube and some of them are really good and some people have taken them all and spliced all the angles together well enough that I just don’t need a professionally filmed version.

Maybe it is better to keep it in our memories how good this tour was, the dvd would be a butchered version anyway. This one and the 2013 one are the best concerts I have attended.

I know the way my negative mindset works lmao.... id *CENSORED* so much about the july london show for 2017 being released because it was so much LESS than the june show....yes it still provides live idan, tc, and mhwgo as well as RTD. LIAWN, think twice and others (weird to think of TTWII being rare but it actually is)....but missing lmbtl, the reason, and TCOML are all highly missed for this DVD. This is why i advocate for soundboard spotify release to get all the songs sung only at copenhagen and first london show.

I do agree to an extent. If the second london show gets relessed i would still find joy in having 100% live TC, IDAN, and MHWGO. The le ballet dance is still cool. RTD and LIAWN is still present. I'd ve missing some major moments but it's still welcome.

 

I criticize Tokyo 2018 but it still gave us out only recent uptempi TTWII, think twice for the first time since 96, the reason first since 99, unison in the medley..... those are still gems I'm glad to have pro shot quality.

I think at the end of the day in regards of a dvd release she will never be able to please us all. If she goes with one of the mini tours songs may be missing. If she goes with the Vegas shows some people will call it a repeat(I was there and I have seen the Tokyo show and it was shot way better then the Tokyo show and she sounded better) bear in mind other footage exists from Vegas so she can always do a mashup ala TTEOW. At this rate I just want something anything. I just got done a huge rant on Instagram but I am honestly just tired with Celine's team they have had so many chances over the years but haven't done anything so far.

 

Btw Tyler was a soundboard recording ever leaked or anything? have I missed something? Sorry I am kinda semi lost here. I have been gone for a while and even during this mini tour I was kinda in/out as it was my only "rest point" between the Vegas updates I used to do. Sorry I asked a real dumb question and completely misread your message.

No soundboard was released...but one thing ariana grande did recently was release a spotify album for her tour. She didn't do a fancy dvd or blu ray...she literally just put the live audio onto spotify and each song was from different show and they had songs not in every show

 

Just imagine celine team cared enough for 2017 to do this and release the entire setlist across the whole tour.

Rest of the setlist basically had all the songs to choose from minus some oddities. They could have given us audio of all these amazing songs in the generic kinda way ariana just did...

 

I'll admit the downside to Copenhagen soundboard is a few songs aren't great. That's why i love what ariana did picking random dates for each song... with Copenhagen the setlist is great but The reason and and especially refuse to dance are a little off here. I'd love a release where it's picked by best performance. Imagine 44 songs where each date is represented once or maybe more.

You're referring to Ariana's release of the Sweetener tour right? I mean I have said this multiple times I am so fed up of not being given anything since 2014(besides the albums) that I'd even take a live CD. She could release songs from all the mini tours and Vegas residency and keep everyone happy. I'm up for anything at this point. My frustration just lies basically with her team and their constant need to record but never do anything with any of those recordings not even CD releases.

Tbh I highly doubt Celine was ever the one who cared about her releases. In terms of her albums I cannot comment especially early on but in terms of releases atleast I think Rene was def the one who was much more willing to listen to what fans wanted and overall from what I understood seemed to give it to them. I feel like that went downhill after he died. Not that Aldo was perfect but atleast with him we still got tv specials now we get nothing.

I know the show was professionally filmed but a while back The Red Heads said the company who filmed it said that it was apparently filmed for promo use only and for Celine's archives(if I believe that one)
