ordinary fan Posted November 4, 2020 at 11:49 AM Posted November 4, 2020 at 11:49 AM Come on...I think that wouldn't have been necessary here. She nailed the note every time Quote

I just heared that part and I was kind of consufed, that's why I asked i told you already! i’ve edited it and the part you hear is the album version in the background! it’s not lipped at all.. and if u look up the original performance you’ll see Quote http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/9793/edwarddd.jpg Here we go, uh
ryba Posted November 4, 2020 at 02:13 PM Posted November 4, 2020 at 02:13 PM (edited) i told you already! i’ve edited it and the part you hear is the album version in the background! it’s not lipped at all.. and if u look up the original performance you’ll seeso they played her own vocals in the background. Maybe to make it sound stronger in case she struggles with the high note. Or maybe she was supposed to lip it, but forgot. Why else would they play the album version in the background? Céline RO Posted November 4, 2020 at 02:42 PM Posted November 4, 2020 at 02:42 PM Ironically, the studio version is much less powerful and sounds awkward in my opinion. Why would she want to lip to that when she could hit the note much better live? It’s definitely live. Quote The best is yet to come...
Tyler1991 Posted November 5, 2020 at 04:15 AM Posted November 5, 2020 at 04:15 AM It's definitely an echo and definitely live. The bordeaux show which i was at she was shakey as hell on that and it was the first night she note changed to that way of singing it. Also think of an echo like MHWGO on ACDS dvd. 2 Quote
Chantemoi Posted November 5, 2020 at 06:01 AM Posted November 5, 2020 at 06:01 AM It's definitely an echo and definitely live. The bordeaux show which i was at she was shakey as hell on that and it was the first night she note changed to that way of singing it. Also think of an echo like MHWGO on ACDS dvd. Are you implying that Céline and her technicians use extra effects (supplements, filler vocals, backing track, whatever) whenever she’s being filmed for a broadcast? Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted November 5, 2020 at 06:39 AM Posted November 5, 2020 at 06:39 AM Example is her performance of The Reason back in Asian Tour 2018. hear the echo at climax “Baaaaaaabbbbyyyyyy” Quote
Tyler1991 Posted November 5, 2020 at 06:44 AM Posted November 5, 2020 at 06:44 AM Are you implying that Céline and her technicians use extra effects (supplements, filler vocals, backing track, whatever) whenever she’s being filmed for a broadcast? Not necessarily, though most of that is taken care of post editing.. still, sound can be manipulated thru effects. A simple echo to draw out the note is nothing. The echo ending is better sounding more haunting than belting outta breath to an abrupt end, most of them..Even the bootleg chicago mhwgo 1998 you can hear an echo on the ending note (and ACDS and the millennium livestream), but not so much new York. It's an effect I'm sure they can easily tweak and play with. Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted November 5, 2020 at 07:12 AM Posted November 5, 2020 at 07:12 AM It’s like Mariah always uses effects for her belts and whistles. These effects can make the sound even more better. I like reverbs and delays. That’s why I wish Céline’s sound guy should make these effects so she won’t sound dry in live and in proshots 1 Quote
ryba Posted November 5, 2020 at 09:12 AM Posted November 5, 2020 at 09:12 AM I must say that I enjoy these effects in her live performances. They make the listening experience richer 3 Quote
andreaaas Posted November 5, 2020 at 12:22 PM Posted November 5, 2020 at 12:22 PM so they played her own vocals in the background. Maybe to make it sound stronger in case she struggles with the high note. Or maybe she was supposed to lip it, but forgot. Why else would they play the album version in the background? ”they” aren’t. i did it Quote http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/9793/edwarddd.jpg Here we go, uh
ryba Posted November 5, 2020 at 12:52 PM Posted November 5, 2020 at 12:52 PM "they" aren't. i did itok, now I got it. I didn't know that you re-edited it 1 Quote

mirage Posted April 15, 2021 at 06:25 AM Posted April 15, 2021 at 06:25 AM Now this is an AMAZING sudden release on YT Wonder where it came from! 3 Quote
woodstock Posted April 15, 2021 at 07:13 AM Posted April 15, 2021 at 07:13 AM That's very interesting to listen to, but that can't be from Copenhagen show : that night she was late for the beginning of "Refuse to Dance" and did'nt sing the first line. I guess this is the studio demos they use to create the show. Quote
Celine Fan 77 Posted April 15, 2021 at 07:17 AM Posted April 15, 2021 at 07:17 AM Now this is an AMAZING sudden release on YT Wonder where it came from! Apparently both audios had been available on VHMedia's website for the past two years. I took a look at their site but unfortunately they don't have more Celine audios. Does anybody know which company made the visuals for the 2016 tour? I've been researching but can't seem to find anything 3 Quote Tournée Européenne in Paris (December 1, 2013)Céline Dion Live 2016 in Antwerp (June 20, 2016)Céline Dion Live 2017 in Birmingham (July 27, 2017)

AdrienneM Posted April 15, 2021 at 12:45 PM Posted April 15, 2021 at 12:45 PM I think those are probably the same sort of thing we saw with the pro-audio of Tous Les Blues from the CWT rehearsals... they probably record a vocal from one of the dress rehearsals and send it off to the company who are providing the lights and effects to finalise their design or base some of it off of 1 Quote
woodstock Posted April 15, 2021 at 12:56 PM Posted April 15, 2021 at 12:56 PM And she doesnt' sing really well either...you can hardly understand what she says in the first verse. But that's not that matters in thoses rehearsals : they record it to put everything together and have the exact time code for eveyrthing that needs it later on stage. Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted April 15, 2021 at 03:24 PM Posted April 15, 2021 at 03:24 PM (edited) Lower key doesn’t sound good with songs like Loved Me Back To Life, Taking Chances, etc. It sounded like she was bored, lazy Edited April 15, 2021 at 03:25 PM by jpatdeleon09 2 Quote
