brandon_vincent Posted August 6, 2017 at 03:51 PM Posted August 6, 2017 at 03:51 PM Ah yes...same here. Post Celine concert depression. It's the real deal. You're on such a magnificent high the day of a show, it's hard to come down from it. Literally takes a week or so for me to adjust my brain back to normal reality. And for those two magical hours she's on stage, absolutely nothing else matters...no matter what you're going through in life, somehow she makes it all go away. You just want the magic to last forever and ever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Absolutely!! I got the privilege of meeting her before my concert and man that just makes the post concert depression last longer lol!! 2 Quote
Javito Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:01 PM Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:01 PM but why is it such a secret that they are filming a DVD. I mean, we are not blind and 15.000 people can clearly see all those professional crane cameras, so why playing stupid. Just say, yes, there will be a DVD. I mean, the concerts are sold out already anyway, so what's the point? No need to be scared that people won't buy tickets cause they will wait until a DVD comes out. The only reason I can imagine why they are keeping it secret is that if the recordings turn out to be not good enough, they didn't do any promises in advance and don't have to release them. In this way nobody would be disappointed. I met on Sunday her tour promoter and he told me the filming would be either for some TV Special to be aired or a DVD release yes. Which option of these, or both, time will tell 4 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Which option of these, or both, time will tell I think we will know soon or at east by the end of this year. I'd say it would be stupid to wait longer... BUT then again, it's Sony/Team Céline 1 Quote
RosieBarron Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:33 PM Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:33 PM He's already making a career dear! And sorry but he already made a career in dancing way before he got to Céline. He has worked for several shows in Vegas, for Cirque du soleil and before that he was an stablished dancer in Spain, she participated in a TV show as a dance teacher and judge and he was a teacher in a dancing school in Málaga. Not bad. And dancing with Céline is just the cherry on the top of the cake, so I'd say his career is more than solid by now, even if he was to dance only one song with Céline in the future. But yet we don't know how Céline's future show in Vegas is going to be, if she's going to have only one dancer or 30 like in A New Day... But anyway, if *he* was going to be the only dancer, would you say no to Céline if she called you to join her??? Because I didn't! You all knew and hinted it way before I'm not discovering gunpowder here, I just got confirmation. Yeah thanks for that. I know he already had a career before he worked with Celine. But if he is talking about working on the current show a 5 minute spot would not make for a very fulfilling working life no matter who you are working with. Surely he would want more in his life than that. Quote
scielle Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:35 PM Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:35 PM Yeah thanks for that. I know he already had a career before he worked with Celine. Surely he would want more in his life than that. Well, his Zumanity act was about 5min... And isn't he more focused on being an illustrator now anyway. Didn't he say he was about to quit dance and then Celine came knocking? 2 Quote

I wondered about that picture in the program, it seemed of a much lower quality than all the others and a bit out of place. It's good to hear the context behind it. 1 Quote

Del Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:43 PM Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:43 PM The show was amazing. I managed to get some great pics and videos which I'll share soon. I was quite cheeky cos I had decent seats but not near the front... during I'm Alive I snuck right down to the front! No one said anything so I didn't push my luck, I took a few pics enjoyed the moment of having her there right infront of me and went back to my seat. Three songs before the end I went back and stayed there before going to get my mum to see MHWGO at the front. She probably thought I wasn't going to return! lol After MHWGO Céline moved to the back as expected and the two of us just walked right across and were even closer than the other side! Amazing that most people stayed where they were while we just walked from one side of the arena to the other. When you're there you're just hypnotised by her. Most of the conversations we have here (which I do enjoy) become irrelevant. I didn't care about her hair, didn't care about what songs were cut.. just enjoyed the show as it was and left more than satisfied. Hopefully won't be another 18 years til she returns to Scotland! You are so right. When you're there it's like you're in another universe. Nothing matters other than watching her sing and be amazing at the moment you are living. The energy of the crowd not only flows through her and the band but also lifts the audience to another level. 4 Quote Instagram: @delphis78

He has plenty of time left for an illustrator career. But when Celine comes calling, especially given the kind of exposure she gave to his artwork, who would honestly say 'no'? Even if it means being temporarily stuck in Vegas? 2 Quote

DionFanAlways Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:46 PM Posted August 6, 2017 at 04:46 PM (edited) As a matter of fact... First video of her speaking Spanish that I get on YouTube, and she goes like "así es la vida... you know... pública" (which means "that's life [you know] public life") So she even mixes English in the middle of a Spanish sentence. That's how far goes with her "Spanish" lol. Here at 1:07https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7UqLpk6Sis And that was only on the first video shown in the list of results... A lot of bilingual speakers do that though. Have you ever heard "Tex-Mex" spoken? If you're a purest Javito I'm sure this would drive you nuts! There are so many Spanish dialects. He has probably had enough exposure to be fair. Should quit whilst he's ahead, springboard off it now rather than go back to Vegas and settle into a show where he will get little publicity. 1 Quote

Dancing_Queen Posted August 6, 2017 at 05:07 PM Posted August 6, 2017 at 05:07 PM Really? Wow, go figure. Interesting. For the German speakers, how is Celine's German on the German tracks she's done? And Mandarin? That Jasmine Flower song from several years ago? Would be interested to hear from native speakers. I guess Celine had lots of practice singing phonetically in English in the early days. My bro has lived in Tokyo for years and speaks Japanese fluently. I showed him the clip of Céline singing that Japanese song before her duet with Ito Yuma (sp?)He said her Japanese was extremely cute with a heavy French accent 😊 2 Quote

Alison_Loves_Celine Posted August 6, 2017 at 05:24 PM Posted August 6, 2017 at 05:24 PM Last night was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The crowd was unbelievable in Glasgow, and rivaled the crowds I witnessed in Montreal last year! They were all clearly so excited to have her back in Glasgow after 21 years! I can’t get over how strong her voice was for this tour... Gone is the nasal from Vegas, and it was so clear during “Recovering” how good of shape her voice is in currently. Perfect timing to go in and record some great vocals for the next album! It was awesome that Alison and I were next to each other and could experience the magic together! Although, I think we were both ready to tackled this b**** who decided to push her way in front of us during MHWGO and when she walked by during LOML. Really obnoxious. As you all saw Céline was quite emotional during/after LOML. It was a great moment! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro Ah it was so lovely to be there with you. What a crazy coincidence! I was speaking to my sister in CT today & she couldn't believe it! Ha that 'woman' felt my elbow last night .. no danger she was getting in front of me! Hope you guys enjoy the rest of your trip. See you in Vegas xx Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Javito Posted August 6, 2017 at 05:30 PM Posted August 6, 2017 at 05:30 PM I forgot about this, I loved it!!! Amazing haha. I don't think the people next to me even got the reference. I wish I was sat next to more enthusiastic fans!! On Saturday I sat next to a couple who barely blinked an eye the whole show, yet I stood up all the time and danced like crazy, I just didn't care.On Sunday I got a gay couple next to me and we chatted and danced and screamed together as if we knew each other from childhood. You never know what mood you're going to find in these situations, but don't let that stop you from showing yourself as you are and havin the best time! 3 Quote "Hush, now...
