I went back and heard it again. One of the links someone had submitted was displaying the final video so I went and heard it in full without the fading in and out. So sad she was crying. I notice she wasn't able to thank them verbally after the song ended. That right there tells me she is really, truly, sincerely going to miss it. I always hope that these months on tour will feed and sustain her in Vegas for a while, and I certainly do hope they will. I also hope they do have an end of tour party. These people, this family, will not be together again for a while, and Pepe, unless he joins her in Vegas which I kind of doubt, won't get to dance with her again! So I hope they celebrate their time together!

 

I'm sure she has enjoyed it, but at the same time she may be glad to have finished. I'm sure sometimes finishing a tour must feel like an achievement. Much like the scenes at the TT World Tour where she was exhausted.

But you can't make a career out of turning up an doing a 5 minute dance every other night. Surely he needs to get himself back into a show where he will dance for most of that show. Wouldn't make much sense.

 

He's already making a career dear! And sorry but he already made a career in dancing way before he got to Céline. He has worked for several shows in Vegas, for Cirque du soleil and before that he was an stablished dancer in Spain, she participated in a TV show as a dance teacher and judge and he was a teacher in a dancing school in Málaga. Not bad. And dancing with Céline is just the cherry on the top of the cake, so I'd say his career is more than solid by now, even if he was to dance only one song with Céline in the future.

 

But yet we don't know how Céline's future show in Vegas is going to be, if she's going to have only one dancer or 30 like in A New Day... But anyway, if *he* was going to be the only dancer, would you say no to Céline if she called you to join her???

 

So if he asked you not to say anything, why have you?

 

Because I didn't! You all knew and hinted it way before I'm not discovering gunpowder here, I just got confirmation.

My GOD, My Heart Will Go On was stunning last night! That ascending run during the "we'll stay" line is so reminiscent of her Vegas Opening Night (August 27th 2015) performance. Very beautiful indeed. And the way she did "you're safe" - like never before!

Such a shame the tour has come to it's end...

I'm still amazed by how incredible she sounded in all the concerts on this tour. Her voice was exhausted at the end of last year's tour, but somehow she managed to keep it in top shape this year!

So Vegas depression starts now. Again. As it has been since 2007, back and forth during this glorious breaks she has from her Vegas residence.

 

If I could describe these tours she's been doing since 2008, 2013, 2016 and 2017, these come as the lightning that illuminates the dark sky at night, sparkles of light and joy, that come and go...

 

Only what she does in that recording studio in Montreal for the next weeks and the release of that work can save us from this feeling of emptiness

 

I know I could be called biased, but Glasgow was by FAR the best show I've seen on the tour. The crowd was definitely the best/loudest/whatever you want to call it & she was totally feeding off of it.

 

I'm so proud to have been a little part of it & so happy she ended what has been an amazing tour, in my hometown.

 

Ugh why does it have to be over??

Because in the calendar it says she has several days booked to perform in a place called Vegas, from September to indefinitely who knows until when?...

Even the tour ended for me in Berlin. Today I was caught by the sadness that it is the end. 2 month we saw Céline leaving her hotel, all videos from shows and now it´s over. But still I´m more than happy she gave us this tour, same as last year tour and tour in 2013. And we will see what brings us a next year.

I just watched videos from today´s coming in to the hotel, she was amazing once again, how much time she was with the fans, what a great person Céline is. BTW best chance to get selfie with Céline is waiting when she return from concert.

She managed to keep her vocals strong till last concert!

She didn't fail in those last concerts!!

She was tired we could see but her voice was really strong and idk..

I'm not sad that this tour is over, I'm just sad because of what she's doing next is taking much of her time to do other great projects instead, as it has been the situation since 2003. She has done much more and got all the media attention in only one month and a half in Europe than anything she does during a whole year in Vegas. Please correct me if I'm mistaken or lying here!

 

I really hope the new album coming is as big as ANDHC in 2002 and that each and every song is worth to be in the album. No fillers this time please!

It is not that she was offkey but I felt it less and she sang different on certain songs.

But that is the problem when you hear so many bootlegs.. you can compare.

Celine never dissapoints and I enjoyed this concert too, but I enjoyed Arnhem and Berlin - from what I heard and saw on the bootlegs more.

Maybe it is also listening to the same setlist many times that you get used to the songs..

Browse celine, this post isn't aimed at you, it's just the quotes you quoted, all urged me to write a few words.. :-)

But here's the thing.....people don't want to hear lipped songs...we had several dozen posts earlier this year about lipped songs, by all kinds of singers....but a live show is just that. It's a live show..they can't rewind, and say "let's do that phrasing again", so from time to time she may be off-key, not as strong, too rushed, or W.H.Y.

Céline normally is pretty consistent, and she is allowed to have off days, like every one of us....
