Interesting that RC is playing the crème de la crème, too - https://en.wikipedia...onathan_Duhamel

True, that's why I really think it's a charity thing

Oh and he won!!!

I can see RC going professional in Poker.. as in competing in tournament. His dad did it and his brother is doing it.

Thanx for your nice comment! It was amazing indeed!

Yes we are cute after a couple vodkas. :giggle: Thanx for your nice comment!

Thank you! We did not get a M&G, but we did meet Celine and took selfies with her. I will share mine tomorrow! :)

Queen of shade! :respekt:

I didn't know you were that short. Pepe is towering over you. You're just a little guy. :giggle:

Oh yeah, they haven't been shy about sharing pics of RC and a small kid with poker chips..

Can you tell if it was her own Celine Dion scent?

lol, the things her fans think of ?

We have seen Celine getting ready to use a freaking breastfeeding pump! She has allowed openness to personal information. To check her flight is insignificant in comparison. Definitely not stalking.

Just remember the BREASTFEEDING PUMP! :giggle:

Yes but she didn't actually use it. :innocent:

Review - Part 1.

The First Time Ever I Saw Her Face :-D

Yesterday at around 1.30 pm, while I was sitting in the Hyatt Regency Hotel lobby discussing the possibility of seeing Celine in person, Celine passed by! She was only a couple of meters away from where I was standing. I could not believe my eyes. She had her hair up, no make up, sun glasses, she was moving fast but quietly. She visited the bar for seconds to possibly leave what she was drinking there and then she vanished into another room, in which I believe there were elevators. I sat at the lobby until 3.30 pm waiting for her to leave the hotel for rehearsals. Pepe, whom I had met before at around 1.00 pm and is a lovely man, had told me they would be leaving at around 3.00 pm for rehearsals, so this is how I had the information.

So there she is at around 3.30 pm moving in the lobby, this time I manage to have a look at her face. Me, CelinesDIVO5 and FlyMeToTheMoon, who is a very cool and smart fan by the way, stood up from our seats as Celine was passing by and we started clapping. There were few other fans there clapping us well. Celine waved at us, smiled in a polite, calm way. She gave me the impression of a classy human being who had been through a lot of pain. I could see that in her smile! She then vanished into an another area where she would be prepared to leave the hotel. After a while she moved out of that room, surrounded by team members. As she was approaching us a fan told Celine that she had broken her leg to get tickets, which was apparently a lie; a lie that worked wonders as it resulted in Celine taking a selfie with her and then with everyone who asked her. I have a video of this moment which I will share later, when I learn how to share videos in the forum. :pinch:

Then I approached Celine to have a photo with her! She smelt so nice! :pinch: I noticed how thin she was, her upper body is very narrow! She is of the same height as I am! I wanted to give her a hug but my anxiety to take a nice photo took over! I took my phone out and she told me in the softest voice 'Up'! I laughed and held the phone higher! I turned the camera on but it was on zoom mode because of the video I had taken earlier. I said ''now THAT is close'' and she laughed! Celine Dion actually found what I said funny! And she laughed! :w00t: We took this lovely photo together in which I look as if I had a stroke. :giggle: Lovely moment! Unforgettable moment!

Celine then went outside to meet other fans, sign autographs and take photos with them! Amazing spirit! I think we should all realise and appreciate that taking photos with us, in which she has to smile, is a favour she is doing us! As I said before, she seems like frail person who has been through a lot.

I will share a review of the concert later.

What an amazing moment this was for you. It's something that you will remember forever. To have met her and seen her in concert for the first time in the same day makes it a unique experience and one you will always cherish. Also makes a great story!

I am making extra money here, lol; i probably just noticed this before him or he finds your post to low for a response.

My point is, share your beef in private, if you don't want users to react. This forum is not about cyber relationships between users!!!

Ps: picking on people based on looks is kindergarden level; If you missed my point, u r hopeless;

Pps: it is this kind of attitude that makes this forum not atractive for sponsorship.

Yes. This is why we never discussed my height. I am 5.7 ft tall (1.73 cm) which makes around 75% of male population taller than I am. This on a global scale.

So there you are. Now you even know some statistics!

The man who is with him is Alain, his aunts husband. He's always with him when RC is travelling without Céline (like for Hockey) and he was also with him in Las Vegas before RC left for Paris in June.

And the Poker game was at the Mirage Golf Club. I imagine it's a charity thing but not sure. And his dad has been teaching him to play poker since he was a small kid

I was actually referring to the other man in the picture. Isn't that RC's hockey coach?

I wasn't surprised to see him playing poker, because I know he's been playing it with his dad since he was very young. I just thought he was actually playing it at a casino or something. I was surprised they would let a 16 year old play poker at a casino, but now that you said it was at the Mirage Golf Club, that's a different story. I bet your right. He was probably playing for charity.

Glad to see him having some fun and enjoying himself on vacation. :)

Never mind. After looking at the picture more carefully, I think it's someone RC has golfed with before and not his hockey coach. My bad.

Review - Part 2.

The Concert Experience

We were inside Barclaycard Arena at around 7.30 pm, I think. We found our seats very easily and I knew we would enjoy seeing the concert, as the second row of Block E was right in the centre and quite close to the stage. I don't like talking about myself, but I did an amazing job booking these seats. :giggle: While I was waiting for the concert to start I had a look at the program which Matthew bought to me as a gift. Yes, he is a sweetheart indeed. The photos were amazing and I hope you all get the opportunity to have a look at the content. There were also these video screens in which it was said that we could Tweet a photo with the hashtag ''CelineDionLive2017'' and that the tweet would be shown in the screens. I tried to share my photo with Celine, but had no internet access in the arena. Also no battery. Also my phone died within 20 minutes.

Anyway, at just about 8.00 pm the lights went off, everyone started cheering and Veronic came on stage. The audience gave her a modest applause which was nothing in comparison to the applause she received when her segment finished. She absolutely won the audience because she was amazing! Most of her imitations were spot on, Shakira, Tina Turner, Adele were some of her very best. And when she went for the imitation/parody of Mariah I couldn't help myself! I have never laughed more during a performance. Of any kind. She was hilarious! This particular segment was the best introduction for this concert and I would not mind if Veronic is the opening act for more tours to come. I can only appreciate talent when I see it live in its purest form.

It must have been 9.00 pm or so when Celine took the stage. I cannot really offer a piece of information that you don't know or that you don't imagine. The audience loves Celine and she is so confident on stage, it is hard not to win everyone over. Her attitude was there, her voice was there, her beautiful soul was there. She was committed to her performances, she was in total control and she looked nothing like fragile person I had met few hours ago. I had this Celine in mind, then saw Celine in The Power Of Love, then in Le Ballet, then in Black & White, only to witness myself her multiple dimensions as a person and artist. Truly remarkable!

Before I go on to review each one of her songs, I am proud enough to admit that I sang each and every lyric of her songs! I cannot hold a f****** note, my throat was closed after the concert, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Hope I did not annoy fans, I tried to keep my sloppy vocals in a minimum volume. :giggle: Now the setlist:

1.The Power Of Love. Amazing introduction and opener, people loved this.

2.I Drove All Night. Kept the people going, quite possibly her most energetic song after RDMH.

3.Taking Chances. People sat down for this, there was no reaction.

4.That's The Way It Is. People were up on their feet again. I hope Celine keeps singing this song live!

5.I'm Alive. IMO this got an even better response than TTWII. Cannot tell for sure cause I was busy doing backing vocals for Celine. :giggle:

6.It's All Coming Back To Me Now. Flawless. She should never stop singing this song live.

7.How Does A Moment Last Forever. People sat down for this one as well, but it was well-received. It almost brought tears to my eyes. One of the best moments of the show.

8.Beauty And The Beast. A Classic by all means.

9.Recovering. A show stopper! I think this is another highlight of the night, again I almost cried.

10.Think Twice. THE BOMB! I had no clue what the audience was doing cause I was singing so loud. The NO, NO, NO part gave me life. Felt like a soccer fan screaming for his team. :-D

11.Le Ballet. HOT! I hope she realises how the audience can enjoy even her obscure songs and avoids many covers in upcoming concerts and recordings.

12.Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore. I had pulled myself together by that point, so while I was singing along I was also noticing how many people knew the lyrics. Yeah, I could beat everyone. :P

13.Because You Loved Me. You know how I have said this is a cheesy song for housewives? I must be one then cause I sang the entire thing live as if it was my favourite song. :D And I think the audience enjoyed this song more than any other ballad besides MHWGO and ABM.

14.All By Myself. I think it is safe to say this song was never sung by an audience like that. Celine let us sing an entire chorus which I don't think has happened before. Correct me if I'm wrong.

15.Refuse To Dance / Love Is All We Need / Black Or White. RTD is a song I adore! So sensual and sexy! BOW stole the moment though!

16.Love Can Move Mountains. The song that CelinesDIVO5 sang the most. If he says the opposite do not believe him. Believe me! I as well enjoyed it, of course! Made me realise we should never argue for the set-lists. Makes no sense since we consume everything she does on stage.

17.River Deep-Mountain High. The most energetic song of the show! I absolutely loved this! Nothing like the boring video uploads. This song is FIRE!

18.The Show Must Go On. As flawless as a performance can be.

19.My Heart Will Go On. To me, this is Celine at her best. I loved her when she sang this song. The whole world did. Such a moment to have her sing this live! I do not remember the performance clearly cause I had in mind I should be moving soon to be closer to the area in which she would sing LOML.

20.Love Of My Life. Same as with TSMGO. Flawless. And very heartfelt. Amazing choice to end the show. I was so close to her that it made the experience even more intimate.

As you might have guessed I enjoyed 100% of this concert and Celine was as amazing as I thought she would be. This woman cannot disappoint.

I will post a final review tomorrow discussing the audience in more detail. Cause I have many things to say. You know me, I love to listen to Celine, but I also love to type! :giggle: :P

I agree with you, it's almost as if Celine has an alter ego when she hits the stage.

Also I must admit I saw her show in Vegas this year and your right again, I'm sooooo tired of LCMM/ RDMH but when you are actually seeing them up close to the stage and in person, they truly are showstoppers and they WORK. Since that day it's been a LOVE/HATE relationship for me with that medley. But let's just say it's still in the setlist for a reason you can only truly understand when you're there in person.
