Anyone have Refuse to Dance from either London concert, but preferably the 29th?

It seems strange to hear someone say they are excited about going to Birmingham :sofunny: . It's not usually that sort of place.

But yes I'm getting excited about going to Birmingham too now. Fortunately it's just an hours drive for me though.

I loved the city actually, specially the huge Bullring Shopping Centre :giggle:

thank you i just watched the whole concert and it seems that now the tour is coming to the end she sometimes sounds a little bit exhausted. maybe the other night she was better. Of course she cannot be 100% each concert but they film this night for the dvd..

Best concerts now are def. Berlin and Birmingham!

I think that in Level 4, the experience is like being at the cinema in terms of how you're able to take everything in. On the floor, it most definitely feels like a concert!

Sitting up there you can appreciate the show as a whole, the lighting, everything. You can miss bits for various reasons when you're floor level.

I agree. I sat off floor in Paris at one concert and 3 times on the floor (row 13, 5 and 2) and the atmorphere is VERY different. I'm never sitting off floor again

I won't either. But I found that when sat on the floor the whole concert ended up being a blur, whereas this time I was able to fully take it all in. Know what I mean? However the atmosphere is important for me.

This will forever remind me of sticky toffee pudding now tho .. ;) I may have to buy some later, in Céline's honour of course ;)

Precisely! And I missed many bits. I think I was just too overcome with excitement for the whole concert  E.g. I was very close to her during LOML, but I can't remember her performance at all

Purely because of the difference in atmosphere, I'll always go for a floor seat from now on (if there will be a next time.. 😕). It was funny dancing while sat down last night

That was me in June! I was just a total mess after the concert, and the day after, and the day after that...!

Why is it that on the occasions where she asked us to sing, no one around me sang?!?

Agree with both of you. And that's exactly what I did. I just listened and watched. I have pics and videos but didn't focus on that much.

I sent my friends pics of my seat and I was like "ugh worst seats ever" (not that bad actually) but turned out to be the show I enjoyed the most (took it all in)

My only two complains:

1. No posters at the merchandise stores. (Although I bought the tourbook and the two mugs)

2. They shouldn't sell alcohol at her shows. Some people near su went quite crazy (they got close to a fight) and security had to come in.

Overall, it was the best night of the year to me. Looking forward to see her next time!

I don't think they had posters in Paris either but outside there were peoples selling nice posters.

And I agree, I don't think they should sell alcohol at the shows. I didn't notice it in Paris much though. If people were drinking, they knew how to handle it

I've been ok so far, Bar losing it during BYLM once as it reminded me of family time, but I've always had lots of lovely shows to look forward to.

It'll be emotional next Saturday having Céline in my home town again .. there may be tears!

There was someone last night in the front row to the side who had clearly had far too much to drink. There's really NO need for it. What's the point when you probably won't even remember your night out?

I saw the 'fight' in Birmingham as it was just to my right. So stupid. It was right when Céline was on stage too!

Think it's great to be able to see the same show twice, once on the floor and once high up. If I'm honest though, if I only go once ( like this time) I'll go for tickets high up. I want to see as much as possible, and I hardly used my phone, only had two videos right at the end and probably three pics in total. Wanted to watch it properly- and not through a phone screen. I'm glad I did too 😀

Love is all we need, Black or White, LCMM and RDMH were my favourites this time! I just love the beginning of Black or White, and of LCMM!!

I suddenly really related to and felt moved by certain lyrics in TC... that had never happened before! And the start of IDAN... surreal! I was so happy, and I just had a moment where I couldn't believe I was there.

Especially if you've paid the money for a front row ticket! That is a waste

I'm the other way around. My last show was in second row and it will be hard to go further away from the stage again :giggle:

I won't be able to afford to get tickets by the stage all the time but I thought it was the most awesome experience to be that close.

BUT I do get what you mean. It's a different experience to sit further away and high up and I did enjoy it much to my surprise.

I guess I rather want to see Céline really close than see how the show is (band, lightning.. etc)

Me too, I loved it the beginning of those those songs and the crowd gets crazy!! :)

Only thing that bothered me with the crowd was when people sitting further back were sneaking in to the rows between the first and second row because the first row was standing up by the fence so there was space behind them. That was annoying.

Ok so I finally got back home after spending five wonderful days in Birmingham with my best friend. I didn't expect the city to have such an amazing vibe! It has a friendly ambience that I just love.

What can I tell you about the show? It was my third Celine Dion concert but the first time that they showed my picture on the big screens while waiting for showtime  We had amazing seats, even better than I had expected. We were on the very center and even closer to the stage than some VIPs.

About ten minutes before Véronic started, a lady and her two daughters came to their seats just next to us and told us how excited they were since this was their first time seeing Celine live. They asked me if she'd have an opening act and when I told them about Véronic they didn't look too impressed, but their reaction was totally different two minutes after she appeared onstage.

And then Celine came in... Her entrance was just magical. When she did the first 'Cause I'm your lady! and all the lights came in, it totally felt as if we were taken back to the Falling Into You Tour.

After I Drove All Night she said that Birmingham is very special to her because she did her very first UK TV show there, and she promised not to make us wait for another nine years to see her back in there (I don't know if we should believe that but whatever, lol).

She brought a new colour to many songs by hitting really unexpected notes at the most unexpected parts. Refuse To Dance was a vocal highlight to me and people went crazy during Le Ballet.

By the way, I cried during Love Of My Life (I mean during the whole song), it was an extremely emotional performance. The bring it back, bring it back part was what made me break down to tears. It was hard not to see her asking René to come back at that part.

1. No posters at the merchandise stores. (Although I bought the tourbook and the two mugs)

I'm spending most of my time in Birmingham!!! I'm sorry I missed you!!

I saw the TCWT 3 times, and I started at the top and worked my way down to the front row. I literally got 3 very different perspectives of the show. It was fantastic.

You've just made me realise that I'm the same! In both B3 and Level 4 I ended up just wishing that I could see her properly close up! That must've been a truly amazing experience, I can't even imagine!
