The uptempo medley for the French shows should have really been "A cause," "Je lui dirai" and even though I'm tired of it, "J'rai ou tu iras," though I'd prefer "Regarde-moi."

Totally agree with you. May I ad TOUT L'OR DES HOMES. That would be a great French up-tempo medley.

Even when they finally put together full live versions of IDAN, TTWII and IA, I wish they would take a little more advantage of Celine's more upbeat catalogue, French and English. I know One Heart and You and I hardly qualify as hits, but they could work well together

I can explain why ME I had the best evening of my life yesterday.

 

First of all, I was at the first raw.... Just AMAZING to see Céline so close to me. I was very emotional. Plus, where I was, there was a lot of fun ! Everybody stands almost all the concert, and nobody asked me behind me to go down !!! We danced lot, sang a lot, enjoyed a lot.

 

And also, I was really happy to hear a "mix playlist" even though it was very weird for "Encore un soir" not to be performed !!! But as I go to Nice on Thursday, it was not a negative thing for me. I was sooo happy to hear my favorite song of my teenage years, "That's the way it is". And also "Think twice". woah.

 

And finally, I sent a "gift" (marshmallows ^^) on stage. The gift just arrived before the stage, I was sad, but Céline saw it and came to pick it !!!!! She was happy to receive marshamallows, made some jokes about it.... I was over the moon.

 

I loved every single word she said during the show... She was searching for "bears", as it is the "symbol" of Bern ! ^^

 

Really, I had a wonderful evening and I am very surprised that you said the audiance was bored (or the Céline's team..).

 

I have to upload photos et videos (but not many videos, as I was front raw with lights, I told myself that Céline was seeing me and didn't want to be behind my phone ^^).

Ok I just watched my videos and photos and the only song I recorded entirely was "It's all coming back to me", do you understand the irony ? But the good point is that Céline made an "eye blink" maybe to me at the beginning of the video !!!! ^^

The concert in Bern was my 6th - all in Switzerland. And it was goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood.

 

The voice of Celine is better than ever. And their stage presence is still brilliant.

 

It was not at Celine that the audience was rather quiet. We, the people of Bern, are known for our calmness and slowness.

 

However, I noticed that more than half of the audience spoke French. Guests from western Switzerland. Welcome.

But the bigger the mistake was that there was no song from the last French album yesterday. After all, the album was No. 1 in the Swiss album charts. ENCOR UNE SOIR could have been a highlight of the concert. But she left it out. And ultimately it does not matter.

 

It was a gigantic evening. Her voice and charisma are above all.

Have you all notice that she has yet to do any interview's with French Tv, , I wonder why that is , now that she has the time to do so, and from watching the video from last night return back to the hotel, she didn't stay very long , just went from the car to the hotel , she hasn't been staying very long to sign/ take pictures with fans,

I just don't get why she's hardly singing any songs from her latest album, an album in French, in French speaking countries, where it was the biggest or 2nd biggest French album the past year? She hardly promoted besides the week or 2 when it came out without a single music video. She's promoting fashion designers more than anything this past year.

I've been to 4 french shows this year, I love the setlist until RTD.

She ends with too many english songs.

 

I think they could easily do a medley with the songs you've mentioned.

What does she needs to rehearse? She practically reads everything from the teleprompter so...

 

This is when I miss what they did in 2013 with JDDMT/DMQS/Incognito medley. Why the hell they didn't come up with a French medley for the French leg of the tour? If they do one for the English shows, shouldn't they do the same for the French concerts? It's such a nosense.

 

At this time, we'd rather get used to the idea that Céline always goes one step further and two steps back in her tours

I think what people need to remember is that, the vast majority of people who go to the shows aren't what you'd called hardcore fans. They just love & appreciate Céline's music.

 

This will have an impact on what songs they do during the shows. People want to hear the classics, the most famous songs & many may not know her more 'obscure' songs, for want of a better word.

 

I think some should remember this before slating every show for songs you may or may not want to hear.

 

There's a lot of negative talk on here at times, which I find really difficult to read. I also think it has an impact on those who are yet to go to the concerts, putting a bit of a downer on things.

 

If you don't like the songs she does & you're not at the shows, find your iPod or whatever & listen to your favourites or the songs that make you happy!

 

I am so happy to be able to see Céline again that, whatever she sings, I am happy. She could never in a million years do a show where she sings everyone's favourites. She'd be on stage for an eternity!!

 

As a 'fan base' we are so incredibly lucky. I think we should celebrate that more ❤️

Swiss is hardly a french speaking country, and the part where she did the show is not... they made a mistake , did not think it was mostly french people who would go.

I agree and that is why i think this english setlist is perfect! I think i like this show even more then the taking chances tour. I mean..think twice and that's the way it is..the reason..how does a moment last forever..and of course the hits casual fans want to hear. Now also add a new day has come radio edit..us..right in front of you..

Hope they film one of the English concerts!
