I hope she gets a good reaction! She seemed to get a lovely reaction this time for Recovering! it was a lovely performance of it. I actually really, really like her live performances of this song. I wish she would give the lesser sung songs a chance. Cutting THLAL and Misled after ONE show was a mistake. It’s been 20 years since she touched those! It’s obviously going to take time for her to feel comfortable with them and get in a groove... I remember the first few shows of the tour last year, she was not comfortable with “Tous les blues,” “Ce soir on danse,” and some others, and after a few shows, they were highlights and she was killing it! If she sang THLAL and interacted with the crowd and got them to stand up and dance and then go into Misled, like she does in Vegas, with crowds that are sometimes half comatose, they could’ve worked. I don’t think they really gave those two songs a shot. That's why I said the tour is about to become Vegas 2.0 on the road. They're cutting the wrong songs and as for now it's a combination of Vegas shows ("A New Day" + "Celine") + a bit of the TCWT... Don' think many young knows that one, it is quite old , but still very good, and let's say Jeff Bridges was at his best in this, but he was smoking too much... And I loved this because it made the live watching more exciting. I'm not crazy about this tour's new arrangement for MHWGO. The neAEAerEar bit and the warbling before the 'take off' part of the song. But she is so good at this song. I've always noticed over the years that she has absolutely no problem smashing the beCA-USE of YYOOUUUUUOOOUUUUOUUUOUOU part of BYLM, and it's so cool. I really do wish that, in RTD, the 'refuse to dance' refrain was performed in a lower key, one much closer to in the original album version. I love this song as much as everyone else though. I think she performed it slightly better on Wednesday. I absolutely adore the opening music of Black and white and the first verse. The opening music sounds like it could be one of her late 80s (e.g. Incognito)/early 90s up tempo songs, which misled (no pun intended) me initially on Wednesday. Where was Think Twice positioned before tonight? I honestly didn't notice the change. I guess because it fits so naturally after The Reason! I feel super special to have been there with such a great crowd and especially for the brilliant MHWGO (on Wednesday). I wish I had been born earlier (I was born the year she brought out Think Twice haha) so I could have maybe gone to one of her 90s concerts or even the TCWT and could have compared that with this concert experience.
