God , the complaining , over and over and over and over again is so draining , guys seriously, whats the point in complaining here , the same people are posting the same complaints here constantly ? sure you are only wasting your time !!! no point....your just draining everybody who has to read through it................. its really annoying :pokey:

Now that apparently they finally have big screens on both sides, please, if somebody from here attends an upcoming show, don't hesitate and film one of those screens as long as possible!

I think they are complaining here because celine's team are reading all the posts here? Maybe. I hope! Maybe it's time they'll listen to us? Kristina i understand. But the show does not evolve and we're getting bored of the setlist. Year after year no changes that are worth mentioning. Yes a new expensive wardrobe. That is it.
We expect changes. And we cannot only use Rene as an argument because this has been the same for years.
I would rather have her quitting Vegas, be a fulltime mum, do a few concerts a year and enjoy life. Now she is exhausting her voice with Purple Rain for example. She ruins her voice with these long Vegas runs every year over and over again.
That is my opinion.

You'll see the evolution of the show.

Current set list , though boring, is not THAT old, it's not "year after year". It's max 2 years with 1 year she didn't sing.

2.What would changes ...change actually?

I mean if setlist completely change now...you'll have the same speech in 1 year.

And then it's always the same bunch of people saying the same thing... sorry! It's not my opinion but the truth.

Let's say there are 100 people wanting new stuff ( which is way too many on this forum but anyway let's say that),how many of those 100 will go to see the hypothetical new show?

Do you think the residency is heading to bankruptcy if those people don't go to see her? Show is still successfull now.

Let's say the truth : new changes will satisfy most of us who are behind our screens.

That's a residency and it's not meant to change every 6 months.

Now this kind of topic is getting really boring, as it's been everlasting for more than 10 years.

I think some people don't realize that what they are saying is even older than the setlist.

Then, are these kinds of runs really damaging her voice? Have u seen the setlist and what's mimed and not? She barely sings now.

To my opinion, if 2004-2005 are always considered as the worst years for her voice, I think we are now in a complete different level. Back then, it was really nasal. But only nasal. And beside her Vegas show, she was doing a great job outside ( Miracle and ONCP promo) but now? lack of power, out of tune, raspiness in every possible way ( belt, end of sentences, normal voice), nasality, pronunciation issues... gosh! :cry: It seems she's not recovering at all.

Sorry to say that but if she can't do 6-7 live songs per night (that include 4 belts) without sounding bad or without us being worried because it's damaging her voice, she's better quit Vegas not because there's no change but because she can't sing anymore. :down:

As we alrady know Céline will continue in Vegas in next years so i don´t expect major changes in early future. I think she will filled her 5-yerars contract with this show and then changes will come with prolongation for 2018/2019, maybe it´ll be new show. And doing these shows so long and so often only ruins her voice even more. As for the rest, I understand where you're coming from, but for both arguments, mine or yours is something to say. I think , like some of you stated - Vegas is for the masses and it works, so why change it, and when she goes on tour it will be different.

There is a big difference between vegas audiences and tour audiences.

just for anyone who is wondering how the rest of the year should play out regarding vegas, it doesn't look like she will be performing during the summer months due to other acts being scheduled and it seems she will most likely return Sep 19 with 12 shows through Oct 7 and return Nov 7 for another 11 shows through Nov 25. I would assume that we will get an announcement very soon about these shows. I'm basing this off of past trends and the shows that are currently booked.

That likely solidifies the idea of the summer tour to promote the new English album. I'm sure we'll get an announcement soon of the summer tour, album, and they'll put new Vegas tix on sale.

I really hope a big rest for Celine next summer, no promotion, no recording, no tour, I don't expect a tour until 2018. It will be really late to announce a summer tour in February. She needs to care about her voice.

It's not too late to announce shows this year outside of Vegas... a little lastminute.com yeah, but better late than never ay!

I seen online that the arena in Birmingham UK was mentioned as a venue yesterday online the Barclay centre I think it's called, and later it was removed?!?

I can't wait to have her back... it's been too long since she was here!

Anyway... I wonder if Law chose the new dress or whether it's one Annie set aside as an extra, as it's very similar to the others in terms of style and colour.

I think I have only listened one full bootleg of the first show in 2011, the opening night in March, and then some video bootlegs of the new songs she introduced since she's singing the ANDHC/IA/TTWII medley, and believe me, the sole vision of her always performing the same bunch of songs and those loud screaming covers (Purple Rain :innocent: ) is what puts me off from listening and/or watching more. I cannot be tired of watching video/audio bootlegs because I barely look for them. I'm tired of the emotionless performances she delivers of these songs, and for always watching the robot/singing machine in which she has become on that stage.

However, I looked and watched every video I could from the summer tour :giggle: Why? There's a big difference between those performances. I think every fan understood the difference when we first saw the summer tour setlist and listened to those songs live for the very first time

I would like all the dresses to be changed. Because I watch every bootleg and I'm bored haha. The yellow Jazz dress dies t suit the medley or ABM at all. She needs to be 'cooler'. She's got the floaty diva dress for Titanic. That's enough.

The green one is my fav... I think the blue one is screaming to be changed, although it has the most copies and works well for MHWGO visually.

I'd love her in a short and long sleeve outfit for the uptempo section like the amazing one she wore for the shows in Paris in 2013

Lol why did you assume I was meaning you? I wasn't actually, but I know what you mean. More fans on here were more excited about the summer setlist. But it was a French show. They do tend to be a little less predictable than her english shows.

Let's hope they're willing to take a few risks with this year's summer tour, for English shows. Assuming there is a tour obviously 😂

Browseceline, I appreciate it so much that you have read my post with an open mind and you understand where I am coming from. I see your point too. I hope we do see more changes as the year goes on. I too enjoy seeing some setlist changes. I still believe though that they will probably keep the overall look/vibe the same until the end of the 2019 contract. I don't see a huge revamp coming up anytime soon. But as I said they can always continue changing up the songs and outfits to give it a fresher vibe. I guess we will see what Celine has decided as the year goes on. As for her voice well I am no expert here but I've been a huge Kelly Clarkson fan since she won idol and I remember a time where Kelly's voice had gone downhill. I was very worried as a fan that she had permanently wrecked her voice but I remember she took 6 months off and when she came back it was as if nothing had ever happened. Perhaps this is what Celine needs too. I remember in Through The Eyes of The World her vocal doctor saying something similar where Celine made the joke that she needs to "sit on her eggs and go make babies" for the voice to recover. Again as I said I am no expert but I just wanted to throw in that example.

I wonder if she's gonna take a break once this show is over though, in 2019. Remember in TTEOTW, when Oprah came and saw her in France, she said "next time I take a break it's gonna be a heck of a break." She really hasn't had that though. The LV show was in the works as soon as the TCWT was over, and honestly, i don't think she's had the "heck of a break" though. Just something I just thought of, for some food for thought

I do think after her Vegas residency ends, she will still record the odd album, but I think personally that these little mini tours are the start of her starting to wind down totally outside of the U.S/Canada as far as touring... I hope I'm wrong, but I have a gut feeling!

She can do Europe and Asia this summer for example and other countries in 2018 & 2019.

I think she will finally get to do some acting like she wanted and be a more stay at home mum, and release perfume/watches/sunglasses and the new home line that's due to keep her name out there and keep the fans happy... we are supposed to retire from work/job, so I wouldn't blame her for walking away completely or taking a complete back seat, as she's been in this job/spotlight since she was in her teens.

Rdmh. By far her laziest and worst attempt. This song from November 2006 to may 2008 was stellar but slowly and surely it has had the same result as love can move mountains. Perhaps this is the result of rdmh being in a medley with lcmm.

I don't like what her recent stylist has been doing with her because we all know how sexy Celine can be and it's a shame that she got rid of Annie because Annie always did a good job at dressing Celine. My worry is that people in the business will try and change her because since her husband isn't around anymore, she's more vulnerable and I love her and don't want people to make a fool of her. I think that she's afraid to be too sexy because then men will hit on her. Do you see what I mean? I also agree with you.
