Our lady is so much in charge,still can't believe that she told the audience to give her mother and family their space and not try to talk with them lol great :)

She said it yesterday . I thought she was amazing. Her mom is not as young as she used to be and she doesn`t speak English. Celine just asked everyone in a polite way to please give them some space, After she asked if she could go and give her mom a kiss, and she got down from the stage to kiss her mom. Yes there is a video

For me it was the highlight of the show, I was totally blown away with her performance when I attended the show! Amazing!

Am I the only who thinks that Céline's voice wasn't in good shape last night?

Her version of TSMGO was maybe the worst she has ever done...

Listen to it again :(

In fairness she's had a tough and emotional weekend, maybe not the best timing for her to be back onstage vocally.

It also looks like she was having monitor issues throughout. She can be seen during "I Surrender" motioning offstage, pointing to her mic and giving a signal to "turn it up." During TSMGO she was playing with her inears again and honestly seemed distracted and hesitant which I think caused the weak vocals... she usually is very happy and carefree and silly during the "mosh pit," and in these videos she seems preoccupied and not "in the moment."

 

If that's the case, I think we can expect to be back to the corded mic! Céline has never met a cordless mic that she's felt comfortable with!

Gone. She actually got rid of it at the end of 2016 (after the 1000th show).

I think she wore till it the last show of 2016. When I went on November 19th she wore the black star dress as the opening

outfit

Snowflake snowflake, like a winter storm...

 

It is disappointing not to have any changes and the increase in playback has not decreased to before. Honestly when I listen to bootlegs those parts are much of what I listen to (aside from purple rain and immortality). Now I don't even have those... I'm bored with the show and I have seen it five times. If they spend half as much time on songs as they did wardrobe we would have much more enthusiasm.

 

I find no problem of being critical at times. Anyone who knows me in my everyday life knows I love celine and am crazy obsessed. Holding her to a high standard as I do, it's easy to be disappointed when things get too much the same or boring. Freshness is what sells. And yes, what celine has been doing will continue to work for her. Just because we've ended our shows with the same last three songs for the better part of 11 years (and it worked and been successful), just because it will continue to work and be successful doesn't mean it should continue. And no, I don't need anyone to post a technicality about a song after it...so what, all three songs are basically in a row and the two songs in a medley are butchered and boring. The only interesting thing recently has been mhwgo being live....

 

More recently I've softened up quite a bit. I take an attitude celine has accomplished it all and should just sit at home and do a handful of shows a year. I do believe that. But if she's gonna work her #ss off doing all these shows, at least spice it up a little bit. After the French tour we have seen sone strong potential about how quick they can come up with a random setlist. No excuses to sit back with no changes for a year and a half beyond one song and 25 wardrobe changes.

Oh my gosh... The show is so boring... The same songs... Less dresses, more playback, no special effects, boring displays at the big screen, they remove the big lamp, and the other elements in others songs... Lights, smoke, holograms... Ughhh and she is trying to dance with this horrible green dress and is destroying the final part of River Deep...

 

I hope they never release a Dvd for that crap...

 

She needs a new show... This is so boring.

Ok I am posting this for one reason. Everyone here is telling me how boring the show is but you know what doing these nightly updates do you know how many of these types of photos I see? Ones with true emotion who can't believe they are seeing Celine for the first time. Alot of people don't have alot of money and so they can't just up and see her whenever(why am I saying this?) and when they do for them it's a dream come true. They don't care what songs she sings what visuals they are they just enjoy the overall show. And before people start me I know because I have spoken to many of these types of people myself. Hell I'll be honest. I bawled like crazy when I first saw her. I didn't care if i knew all the songs or not I enjoyed every min. I feel so blessed that I was even able to see the show twice For 7 years I begged my parents to see her live both with AND and TCWT but my parents couldn't afford it at the time so for me seeing these types of pictures I really can relate and is probably why I feel so strongly and keep repeating myself about how watching a 20 second youtube or instagram video is not I repeat not the same as seeing the real show. I also wanted to add that I have had many health challenges as well so going to see her is not very easy for me either.

I realize with some people I can't change their minds but I hope some of you read this with an open mind and try to understand me here. I try very hard to understand many of you. Do I think the show could use some changes sure but if she's not ready or doesn't want it then I'm fine. I'm not worried at all. She will be fine and so will the show. Remember Celine is still going through a very hard time. It's only been a year and just cause she seems ok doesn't mean she always is. We don't know maybe right now she doesn't feel like rehearsing (remember she said when she had to originally begin rehearsals right after the twins she felt overwhelmed)and changing the show up alot. Perhaps she wishes to keep it this way because Rene liked it this...I don't know I'm just throwing out possibilities here.

 

Final thought... I didn't fall in love with Celine for her live shows I fell in love with her cause of her songs, her personality. I will be honest with you I could sit almost all day and listen to all those songs again and again and again. Maybe I'm the one that's crazy maybe it is because I haven't been a fan as long as many of you idk but this is how I truly feel.

 

I apologize for the past two nights of rants...I just can't help myself. I become frustrated sometimes I won't lie. And I understand we all feel differently and all are allowed to express our opinions...I guess mine just gets the best of me sometimes. Again I do apologize. I will post again later if more photos/videos pop up but as I said overall very slow tonight.

We expect changes. And we cannot only use Rene as an argument because this has been the same for years.

I would rather have her quitting Vegas, be a fulltime mum, do a few concerts a year and enjoy life. Now she is exhausting her voice with Purple Rain for example. She ruins her voice with these long Vegas runs every year over and over again.

That is my opinion.

Have to agree. And if there's one true thing said in that "scandal" NRJ documentary, is the cash cow thing. For all the people in Caesars Palace, that's absolutely true for Céline :down:
