It’s her face that needs a little weight. I seen her two years ago in Las Vegas and she was much more healthier looking.

Asking now for another tour is an abuse imo. When Vegas isn't even done yet. Demanding another tour this year after Vegas and after 3 consecutive years with tours is totally taking for granted her generosity now :doh: It's like some fans expect now her to tour every year on a row, like an habit, as if she's not performing/has performed enough in Vegas :rolleyes:

 

That's why I don't even participate on the "2019 tour speculations" thread :innocent:

Think it is because she does fitness exercises. It strengthens her muscles and she looses weight. when loosing weight if often shows in the face at first

frail? no, she's fit, more than ever imo. She has good definition in her arms and legs.

I'd wager that working out is part of the reason why she feels younger.

Besides, Celine is naturally thin because she takes after her dad (as does RC who is also a very thin person, even though he does sports).

But also the more one losses weight the more defined they’ll look. So I think she doesn’t look at her best, almost unhealthy.

I think she's training more than ever before and that's why she looks thinner. But more muscles!

Maybe so, but with her talking about the album i think a tour and album (with a break following it) are more likely

 

 

Cant envision her returning to Vegas before January 2021 IMO

I can't truly envision her leaving a theatre built specifically for her. I mean, that place is like her & Rene's 4th baby.

Well supposedly they pay Gaga $1 M per show, not sure if that's actually true. But if it is, Céline should get just as much. It's not just about the money, but if you know your coworker gets twice as much for the same job, wouldn't you want to earn just as much if you're the veteran act? :-D

Well, I wish she would so something like Gaga's "piano and jazz" show. Except a French one. If Gaga can have two entirely different concerts - the latter for a smaller, niche audience - then surely Celine can, too.

As much as I would like a 2019 mini tour, I have to agree that it's not the right time. I would much prefer her get the album out do some promotion for it and then come with shows in 2020. Some time away from the stage will be good.

Plus a big life change, too, with RC graduating high school this spring. I wonder if he'll continue to live at home.

However in the streaming age, the only possibility for Céline to have an album with some healthy sales (at least for release week), it is if bundle with tour tickets. ^_^

Therefore, it would make sense to have a tour sometimes after the release of the album and which is announced at the same time of the album release. The North American may not happen during the summer, but most probably during winter.

She gave birth to the Colosseum and took care of it for 18 yrs. Its an adult now lol She can leave and create something bigger

No. But that's circumstantial. Celine has done, what, 3 or 4 interviews on Quebec TV since?

 

And wasn't Julie in the midst of an ugly divorce at the time? Hasn't she left TVA & shut down her production company? Does she even still have any kind of a show? Hasn't she been away from TV for ~3 years?

Have you seen the doc? (All 6 parts are now on iTunes, Amazon, YouTube, etc, if not)

Or a BBC documentary along the same lines from last year (different witnesses; same story)?

 

I don't think most people were aware of the extent of it all. I certainly wasn't.

Maybe because I don't like R&B and was largely out of the loop of pop culture from ~2002-12 and so was only aware of him through the '90s association with Celine and peripherally via the really obvious songs like I Believe I Can Fly. But I didn't know about the illegal marriage, or the widely-distributed child porn tapes (and the extent of evidence of both), much less everything else.

 

Plus we're in a #MeToo & #TimesUp cultural moment where women are finally finding the courage to come forward against powerful men and are not being swept under the rug. About time.

I had read a few articles before the #MeToo movement but the allegations weren't taken seriously.

Madonna camp released a statement following the article:

 

I don’t think this is photoshopped even in billboards. (During her re-invention tour) You can clearly see even on videos that she’s skinny with a bit veiny muscles.

Anyways, I don’t have any plans on having a debate about this. I’m just showing an example that I don’t want to see on Céline’s. I like her toned body with the right amount of fats during her Taking Chances World Tour
