But it was a single that got some airplay. Besides, the show doesn’t have to have a song as an opener that is massively popular if it works. The guitar work during the beginning of the song could get the crowd pumped. I really do think people would enjoy it as an opening number. Especially if Scott elevated it a bit with the proper arrangement.

Well, after all that myriad of videos with LCMM either as an opening for a tour concert or a TV show all I can say is... LCMM needs a rest! :innocent: :giggle:

The arrangements for RDMH sounds boring.. it sounds quiet, weak unlike her A New Day/TCWT version, it sounds alive, energetic and way better.

 

 

This arrangements is way better than the recent one. It doesn’t sound boring, weak. And those electric guitars.. it makes it more alive

Its hit and miss really. Scott has produced some of the best arrangements ever for songs and its guaranteed that some wont be as good as others. Plus, it will sound different with a full orchestra than with a small rock band i prefer LCMM with the brass now than i did years ago

1. Do you have link for I Surrender at that time? I mean the same recording.

 

2. Wowwww long hair no ponytail.

 

3. I missed how they utilize that big screen by showing more Celine herself.

 

4. Yes silver stage will do good for lighting.

 

5. Almost identical to the dvd... the singing, the adlibs script.... for sure it was live, just kinda interesting to watch.

Yes I like TCWT too... when the music starts and Celine says and screams “I know that you can sing, and I know that you can dance, come on everybody, stand up and dance with us come on!!!! Yeahhhhh yeahhhhh!!!!! (lol, I even remember the script)

I love how Scott has taken the songs we love and made them new!!! His new arrangements rock! This tour is gonna be amazing! I only saw a preview of what’s to come ;-)

Sorry it wasn't until i was 20 minutes into my video search and post that i realized i wasn't in youtube topic but was too invested by that point lol.

I thoroughly enjoy the Johnny Rocks remix of “I’m Alive.” It’s probably the best remix of the song.

 

I used to listen to a great Blondie remix of I'm alive it was the same music for heart of glass

One thing's for sure: She is no longer willing to restart a song if she messes up the lyrics as she did here :giggle:

 

 

 

It's true that maybe she wanted to make it perfect since this was a promotional performance to help selling her album, a concert for her fans is probably different on that sense. It doesn't necessarily need to be that level of perfection as her album sales don't depend on singing each song perfectly as the album version.

my that was brilliant - mistakes and all. Loved the musicians she had with her. Kind of an unplugged feel to it

What the fudge! Lol they already cut the iconic big stage, now they also change the big LED screen into smaller one.

Seem to recall they had to update the screen because it was 10 years old etc. Just like when you compare a tv picture from 2008 to 2018. So it makes sense that the money wasn’t there to replace the size of the screen. Especially as it must have been around the same time as the economy slump in LV. But yeah it’s a shame though.

No wonder The Axis Planet Hollywood tops the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace

 

The theater before at the colosseum is way better than now

when i see the tour setup in Vegas it looks much better. Way more excitng! the regular Vegas setup is just way too empty and does not scream Vegas to me! In fact the tour setup plus setlist is way more entertaining and i bet the Vegas audiences would prefer it as well:)

Oh I hated the Axis Theater! They have restricted views and no screens for what's going on stage. Just the back ground screen, at least when JLO performs. If you aren't close to the stage, you can't even see her face.

Yeah we definitely need “tour Celine in Vegas”, maybe the next residency? If there is one obviously lol. AND we had “over the top Celine”, current one we had more a “classic Céline with orchestra”, next one “tour Celine, taking chances and having fun”!

they should finally realise that RDMH and LCMM worked very well in the AND show with an awesome choreography (especially for RDMH! The choreography made this song really attractive) but now this medley just doesn’t work anymore and it’s time to give it a rest and try 2 new songs and refresh the shows instead of holding on to that boring medley without a reason.
