That's exactly what I'm saying. I'm willing to bet that she was terribly embarrassed, and even more so to wake up all over the internet.

We don't know how much she drank, or how much she can handle. She could have only had one or two and her body just doesn't handle it well. I understand it's a disruption, and I don't condone her actions, nor am I trying to justify them. I'm just saying "we don't know." Celine was graceful and kind, which is what that woman seemed like she needed. It was a one off incident, Celine was forgiving, I think we can be too. And just leave it in the past, because we can't change it. It also takes too much energy to be upset and angry about it.

Hello, so I was physically present at Celine's show on Fri Jan 5, 2018 in Front Orch 5, Row EE aisle seat.

A lot of the people around me, fans and non-fans alike, were sitting at the edge of our seats watching the whole incident with Barbara go down. She was already a nuisance during Celine's opening song "I Surrender", because she stood up from her Front Orch 2 seat and was dancing and flailing around like the drunken lady she was.... DURING A SLOW SONG. I already knew she was going to be trouble.

I really have no idea why the Colosseum staff didn't do their due diligence and remove her. Barbara did have additional friends that actually got removed too. My background is in the hospitality industry - in events/Food & Beverage, and certified to serve and also intervene in situations accordingly with state liquor laws. Let's just say that a lot of staff/security will have learned and hopefully trained properly from that night since.

During Celine's opening speech to the crowd, right off the bat, she addresses to Barbara and thanked her for NOT GOING UP to interrupt during the song. Barbara then takes it as a "go time!!" to walk up to the stage towards the stairs where the bodyguards were sitting. Celine said to let Barbara go up, and probably only expected Barbara to shake her hand and/or obtain a hug........ UNTIL Barbara decided to yoink the microphone off Celine's hands and preach her message up and down the stage. By then, all of us in the audience were already in shock, and that's when her bodyguards were slowly going up the stairs on either side of the stage.

I can respect that Barbara needed an opportunity to talk about whatever difficult situation it was (in her case, bone marrow donors because her son has cancer).

BUT!!!!! She crossed the friggin damn line when she decides to climb and hump Celine AND have the audacity to tell Olivier (the bodyguard) to "DON'T TOUCH ME!!!"...... to the horror of Michel and additional security on the wings of the stage. As the incident was going on, the Colosseum security in the red suit jackets were all inching closer and closer down every single aisle of the Colosseum towards the stage.

She really could have kept her limbs to herself, and not touch Celine in any way, and it really is a shame that Celine's bodyguards did not drag Barbara off the stage. I have a feeling because of a previous incident when the bodyguards actually yanked a guy backwards, who had stormed the stage (wearing the white I Love Celine Dion t-shirt)... that they cannot continue their method of removing fans.

Celine did a fantastic job in handling the situation, but I do know she was pretty pissed after the fact, like any other human. She got a few people in the audience, including me, to stand up and clap for her.

So yes.... for someone like me, even just thinking about this incident that happened nearly a month ago... still gets my blood boiling.

I was there that night as well, sitting directly behind Barbara. All of what you wrote - my sentiments exactly. It was a very intense experience and upsetting to watch. :down:

Like I said, I'm not justifying or condoning her actions. I get that she was disruptive and made people angry, truly I do. I, like you am a hospitality professional. She was drunk, it was a very unfortunate incident, but saying she's a horrible person and reading some of the other things I've seen people say about her is unwarranted...because we don't know her. Most of us have all done stupid things in our lives, drunk or not. I'm sorry that you were present to see all of it go down. But even though you were there, you still don't know her. None of us do.

Most of us have all done stupid things in our lives, drunk or not. I'm sorry that you were present to see all of it go down. But even though you were there, you still don't know her. None of us do.

True, none of us know her. I wouldn't say she's a horrible person, but this whole situation is a pretty big indicator of the type of person she is/can be - with/out alcohol. I don't see this as a 1-off thing for Barbara.

She was in Vegas with her friends. She got a little out of control...as most do in Vegas. Middle aged moms partying in Vegas isn't normally an indicator of what their life is at home. Most times, they act like this on the rare chance they get away from the husband and kids with the girls lol. We all have an incident in life we regret. This may be hers. Thing is, we can't change the fact that it happened. Why keep dwelling?

And people think I’m boring for not wanting alcohol allowed at concerts. If a person can’t enjoy themselves at an event without a drink, they need to do some real self-evaluating. Of course, though, banning alcohol at concerts will never happen until the greed from their sales goes away.

Haha, yeah. The first time i drink, I don't know how much I can handle, it takes not much to get me drunk, the worse part is, i drunk at my friend's friend birthday. They hate me since then and never talk to me again. Though i did no harm, I just puke.I didn't mean to.

How many times do I have to say that I dont condone her actions? I just hope none of us get into a position where we are being spread across the internet because of something dumb we do. All I've been trying to say is that the names people are calling her (tard, for example) and still being annoyed about it is not going to change what happened. Worse things have happened to celebrities because of their fans. Us staying mad about this, doesn't do anything. Celine and her team took care of it as it happened, and after they removed the stairs to prevent it from happening again. What more can come from incessantly bringing it up, just to complain about it?

I think people are missing the entire point that Celine was trying to make and what she wanted us to all take out of that experience she had with Barbra. Celine told everyone in the audience that night that they shouldn't judge this woman's behavior, because we never know what's going on in anyone's life. Celine treated this woman with kindness and respect, even though she may not have necessarily earned it in that moment, but more importantly, Celine did not judge her and I think we should all follow in Celine's example. I think that's what she would want us to do as her fans and I believe that's the message she was trying to teach us in the first place, if we really payed attention to the words she was telling us and the underlining message she was trying to put across. To be kind, compassionate, understanding and caring above all.

If Adele takes over for Elton John, then I will have to move to Vegas otherwise I will go broke between Celine performing one month and Adele the next! I knew Adele would not stay away from performing forever....hope she joins Caesars!!

I never complain about her Vegas show. Not once in the 15 years that she has been there. That also has nothing to do with the conversation we were having.

And I'm not condoning her actions, I'm just saying that at this point, it's not worth rehashing and being mad about. And as human beings, to put ourselves in her shoes and think about times when we have done stupid things. That's all. I have said multiple times that her actions were inappropriate, but what's done is done and we can't change what she did. I swear, Barbara is getting more flack than that woman, Shalimar; who literally stalked Celine, made her way into the "A New Day..." 100th show party, and stole Celine's partially eaten cake...and froze it. And Barbara was taken at the hand by Celine herself, while Celine asked the crowd to show a little mercy.

I remember her, the cake thing I think really creepy, the cake is not even in a good shape.
