She is. And some still have to accept that she's a (natural) woman (pun intended) who is simply aging.

You can't look your very best every single moment. And Céline has always been a woman who looks a bit older for her age.. (and yet still looks stunning as hell)

When you're very pale and put on a dress that is also light and almost same colour of your skin, I don't think it has a good effect on you. But only when you have very light skin. This is an example of when it had a GREAT effect on her, in the IWCT videoclip, when she was very tanned. But horses for courses, as usually!

 

There is the Color me beautiful theory, which says that every person belongs to a color-typ (spring, summer, autumn, winter).

Here is a perfect example: Celine Dion. In my big training manual on color analysis, they listed Celine as a Soft Autumn. Clearly they were mistaken, I thought. She’s obviously a Deep Autumn. But then I studied photos of her more intensely and I know do believe my book was right. While not looking bad in the deep autumn colors, I think Celine really glows in the Soft Autumn colors below:

This is where color analysis really comes in handy as a tool that helps you look your best. By determining your season, you will know what the guidelines are of your season and know how far you can push your coloring, or how to best utilize its unique characteristics. I think Celine looks best when her coloring is quite muted and warm. In the second photo, her hair might looks a little light (at least on my monitor) but her makeup is perfect. It looks fresh and natural and beautiful.

I think in the era of Taking Chances.. they also focus on her make up (darker?) I think they put many layers to achieve this looks. But i like it. I like her makeup in Et Sil En Restait Qu'une Music Video. This is what Mariah Carey always do.. Putting many layers of makeup

They livestreamed it for Rene, so I'm sure it's kept somewhere. I know January 12, 2016 was filmed in full. Several songs from that night have been shown on TV interviews, etc.

Might be wrong but pretty sure Oprah got the first two nights in full back in 2011 and I’m guessing February 23rd 2016 was prob also filmed since there were proper cams there that night for the live stream.(plus we got that ABM clip ) We also know every night is recorded in Pro (the screens also for people working the cues plus seen footage in interviews and commercials ) I’m sure they could pull something together. If MJs estate managed to release a DVD with pro shot screen footage from 1988 then anything is possible IMO

Quite simple really. The look that suits Celine is a daker blondish brown hair with lightly tanned skin. I agree with whoever said she looked tooooo pale and washed out at the Grammys last year. She was to pale, hair was to light make up was also too pale and her hairstyle maximized her lines and wrinkles. Obviously shes aging and thats great but she needs someone to help her focus on what makes her look more youthful. Also since zhane left her hair hasnt been very good.

Maybe she should go to Scott Barnes again for updates with makeup or try Mariah Carey's Makeup artist. And for the hair she should go back to darker color like in A new day...

All these costmetic surgeries, botox and what ever other stuff if just messing with our brains. None of that is natural.

I personally love to see people age naturally and I have no envy or admiration toward people that go for surgeries to make them look younger.

Doesn't mean I loose respect over them as humans.. they just don't wow me. Because it's fake.

I agree. I don't see why people have to try to look younger or hide their age. In Celine's case, she is a gorgeous almost 50 year old woman. She is not 20 , 30 , or 40. She has never tried to hide her age or was never embarassed of her age. That's one more of her many qualities, she is what she is and totally ok with how old she is! I wish I looked as hot as she does. Celine looks beautiful because of a healthy lifestyle and not because of some fake, artificial procedure.

I agree that she has a hair and makeup expert for her to get better, some peteados and makeup like Stand Up To Cancer, she seemed to be older than her age.

Don't forget that we see a lot of photoshopped pictures of Celine where she looks 10 years younger.

So seeing her almost natural could come as a shock.

But like I said, she still looks awesome at 50!!

 

True makeup and hairstyle can make her look younger, but for someone at her age still looking as natural as can be, proud!!!

I've probably said this before, but...I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with plastic surgery. It's a personal choice and if it makes you feel good, then great.

 

What saddens me though, is that people get so used to their celebrities looking plastic that someone like Cêline (a beautiful, middle-aged woman with a natural look) constantly get comments for looking 'old'. She just looks her age, is all.

I remember seeing her in Paris this summer and she had so many 'laugh wrinkles' around her eyes and I just loved it because they are a reflection of who she is...

I’ll bet she adds extra shows in here and there so she doesn’t have to extend the last date. Maybe if she has a month off say in February next year maybe instead she’ll opt to make up the shows in there, who knows but I bet that’s what happens. Unless in the contract she has a claus which allows for a certain number of “sick days” which aren’t mandatory to make up, if I were Renè when he was at the bargaining table I would’ve fought for some excused off days in the event of illness, because at the end of the day when you’re singing 70-80 shows a year throughout most of the year you’re bound to get sick at some point.
