Hi everyone! I am back finally! Ok so we flew into Vegas last Thursday. Our plane got in at around 10pm so we didn't actually check in till 11pm and we didn't even eat 12 but that's ok because it's Vegas. I'll admit I was a bit scared with this trip after everything that had happened but I wasn't about to cancel it. I had planned for far too long to cancel it. And for anyone who knows me personally knows that I can't just get up and say ok today I am going to plan a trip. It takes months of work. Plus my dad was a cop for 20 years then also worked at airport security so I felt safe with him coming with us. Anyways Friday night we were supposed to go see JLO but I got a call on Tuesday from Ticketmaster saying that she had cancelled her final 3 shows of this leg. I was so upset but in the long run it turned out to be a good thing. Friday was spent exploring Vegas and just enjoying a nice dinner with my family. I was really pleased because if we had the show too we wouldn't have had time to do all that we did do. So Saturday rolls around. Basically most of the day was spent in the hotel though we spent the morning by the pool. I spent most of the afternoon getting ready. So we headed down to Caesars at around 6:30pm. It was funny cause as I was heading to will call to pick up my tickets this lady comes up to me at the door and is like do you know where Celine's theatre is? I laughed a little. I was like woah is it that obvious I'm a Celine fan :giggle: Anyways so we went inside. I didn't go get my usual margarita right away. Hung around the main lobby inside the theatre for a bit. I decided to go see the wax work. Looks different from when I posed with it 6 years ago. I like the version from my photo alot better. Looked a bit at the merchandise too because it was madness in the actual store. I debated for a while whether or not to get the program. I have the original 2011 program. I decided against it especially since I have no space in my room at the moment. Before I knew it the time had passed so we lined up to get our drinks. This was my dad's first time seeing Celine. Me and mom got our usual margaritas. Dad opted for a pina colada. I think I ended up drinking from both :giggle: So we went inside found our seats. I ended up becoming super chummy with the usher at the door. I swear I got up like 5 times before she even came on and once was because my mom forgot her drink at the bar. :sofunny: She had the large #VegasStrong sign up on the screens. Ok so show began at 7:44pm according to my photos. It ended at 9:34pm. Last time the show began 7:49pm and ended a little before 9:28pm. So you all know I do the updates almost every night. Basically it's like watching the show every night. I said this last time and I will say it again this time. You cannot judge this show by 20 seconds clips from instagram. I am sorry but you just can't. Each time I see it in person I fall in love with it all over again. Another thing I noticed was that Celine is very much aware of every little thing that is said about her. For example she referenced the whole dating thing (Kaven and Pepe) or the whole she talks too much during the show (which yes she does but that's ok cause everyone was cracking up ) Also this time she seemed alot happier. Alot more there. Last time she was great and all but I felt there was something missing. I at the time said perhaps it was her still grieving or she was tired or even with the viral infection she had at the time. This time it was definitely the Celine I love. Vocally she was on fire and I love how she's changed up the way she sings many of her songs. (for ex there is a difference in how she sang Recovering this year vs last year) I am not going to go into super duper details because we all know the show by now backwards and forwards. But damn those dresses are gorgeous. The pictures don't do them justice. I also love the shorter hair. I will say that I still can't choose which version of the show I like best. Oh and also during BYL she was going now is the time to shout anything at me. I got the courage (don't know how cause I legit had no voice I was suffering from vocal issues due to the climate) and screamed Celine I love you! I don't know if she heard me because 2 others screamed at the same time but the people near me def heard so yay to me  I am very shy so for me to do that was big. I also managed to get down to the mosh pit without getting killed this time! She almost touched me she stopped one person before me :pinch: still was amazing. People were so into it they didn't even want to leave when MHWGO started lol security took some time to get them to move back to their seats lol. We went to the store again afterwards. I have never seen it like that. I couldn't even move but I noticed people were going crazy for her bags so that's a good sign! Also the day before I left I went down to Browns and they were sold out of her bags after just 3 days! Little side note I know but I had to add that one in. My dad said he enjoyed it but the thing he liked the most was seeing me so happy. My mom and I were speechless as always. And I cried as I always do. I can't help myself. Celine must be the only artist who does that to me. Anyways this time I didn't do much media wise because I wanted to really absorb the show. But here is a small montage of my best photos.

So happy for you!! The mosh pit rocks but is very congested! I’ve learned that if you want Céline to touch you or take a selfie, that you have to be off to the sides more!! But I’m so happy you screamed!! I warn my family when we go that you’ll want to distance yourself from me as much as you can because I’m loud and very vocal about my Céline lol!! I feel bad because I stand a lot but I’m very passionate about Céline lol. Your right about the show in person being breathtaking!! Nothing beats that!!

I’m a total fan of the short hair on Céline!! I think at this age it fits her well, I mean anything Céline does I love but what do you guys think of the shorter hair on her? I’m a huge fan of it! I told her last year when I met her how much I adore her short hair!! For those of you who go to the show, scream you love her hair!!! She gets very touched by those comments!! My mom and Céline had a very beautiful conversation during my meet and greet about life and losing loved ones and how Céline wanted to change her look :-) it was beautiful to hear Céline talk so personally with my mom about losing her husband and how she wanted to change her hair! Céline is doing this for Rene <3

What an amazing review, yes, and so much I could comment on. I can relate to the shyness part. I don't/can't scream because my mother taught me that I look like a dork if I do that and that people are going to think I am too loud and should shut up. I worried every night I went last that the people next to me were going to either politely or not so politely ask me to shut the f up! I may not be louder than the average person, but because I am blind and my hearing is, um, a little bit different than others' things sound louder to me than they might to others. I have always longed to shout o9ut and have her hear me. I don't care if she ever sees me, cuz, well, I can't anymore. But for her to hear me, as hearing is the only/primary sense I have now, that would be everything! And even more so if she ever responds. So big kuddos and congrats to you for doing that. I have heard that she can hear just about every little thing that goes on there, so I like to console myself with the possibility that she could have heard me. lol Good for you. Also, the other humongous thing I have to comment about from your review is that I totally, completely agree with you about the way she sings Recovering now. I liked it before, I LOVE it now! This is what happens and why I'm not so caught up in how many/how often the show changes, because just the mere fact that she plays around with her songs, that's something. Ideal? Not quite, but it's something! I also relate to her being the only singer/artist that gets me in tears when I "see" her!

You are exactly the kind of fan I could be like. I am also incredibly passionte about her, I think a lot of us are. I was just raised/taught that it's not okay to show it. I love that you warn your family lol I warned the people sitting next to me when I went that they might regret sitting next to me those nights. Because even though I'm petrified and have these inner voices in my head telling me I can't/shouldn't/look like a dork/going to ruin it for everyone else, with what was happening to her back in 2015 I decided to just throw caution to the wind. I knew she needed us back then and that this might be my last chance to ever see her again. i wanted to leave Vegas with no regrets, having put it all out there for her because I knew she needed it. And as I've said to you on PM before, I may be the only one here who is okay with this, but I LOVE it that you refer to her as my Celine! I think of her that way all the time but I fear that most people around here would think I'm greedy/selfish for saying/thinking that so I keep it to myself. I also love that you stand a lot. That's something else I would have loved to do!

Wow, that’s a nice review and such a beautiful pictures! Seems like you were very close!

I’d love to go to Vegas and see Céline perform.

But, you wrote that she talks a lot at the moment...

for me, as a hard-of-hearing, this is very difficult. Songs are easy, as I can learn them by heart and sing along.

But the talking... at concerts (I went to three of them) I hardly understand what she’s talking about.

Does anyone think if it’s possible to contact the audio-people to see if my audio-material could be connected to the audio, so I can also (better) understand what she’s talking about? And maybe I even hear her voice so much better then...

like, I have a Sennheiser microphone and receiver. The mike could be plugged in onto the audio with a cable. And I will carry the receiver, connected to my hearing aids...

These are the Sennheiser things I have...

I think that's an amazing idea. You can't possibly be the first person who has thought of or even asked them that. I don't know how likely it is that they would do it, but if you wrote and asked them about it, or even called, it would raise awareness of an important issue. As a blind person myself, there's really nothing they can do to accommodate me, but you, they could. And I think it's good to make people aware that just because you have a hearing difficulty, that doesn't mean you don't/can't listen to music, too. There's no reason not to and you might be someone who wakes them up to the needs the hearing-impaired community faces. I'm always an advocate for making people aware of other peoples' needs. I totally support you in doing that and do hope you get to see her perform again at some time. Thanks for sharing that with us!

I love your review! Great picture of her during PR because I've always wondered what her face looks like when her back is turned. Yes, she definitely knows shat is said about her because she made jokes about her dating Dominique on opening night, so funny! :giggle:

That’s funny. Love that she’s super aware of everything being said about her.

I was in the first balcony Saturday night! Her and the crowd were on fire!!! Totally agree that she seems a lot happier and the dresses look fantastic in person!

Also, gonna fill out the survey but interesting nonetheless

Awesome that you were there too. Happy to hear that you enjoyed it and agreed with me

What camera did you use?

I used my dad’s new iPhone 8

Totally agree. Felt so claustrophobic at the mosh pit but it was so worth it. That’s awesome I agree sometimes you just have to go for it. Sometimes you have to be loud and just go for it especially when it’s an opportunity that doesn’t come everyday

Aw no don’t think that. Just go for it do it. That’s what I have learned the past year. Life is short when you get these chances just take them. Celine apparently can see everyone quite well from the stage and as she said Saturday she can hear everyone quite well as well. I know no matter what she loves and appreciates each and every fan no matter what. I always used to worry about bothering others but I’ve learned to take myself into consideration every so often and allow myself to do the things that I want. I hope what I just wrote made as much sense as it did in my head. I am happy to hear you left it all out there when you went in 2015. That’s how it should be. You should leave with no regrets.

Ive notice that she not with the corded mic,

Wireless mic is the best! Neat looking unlike the wired mic.. It looks so messy on stage, and for the outfit

First of all, thank you for your detailed review. It was very entertaining to read. Apart from the fact that I can understand your Dad ( in his role as father), I would like to say the following:

It's one thing to watch videoclips from youtube or instagram, in more or less good quality, but another to see Céline in person, close to the stage, to feel her energy, her passion and to hear her unique voice.

The same considerations year by year....Shall we go back to Vegas? Shall we spend a lot of money again on flights, hotel and tickets? Shall we watch the "same" show again and again?

For us, there is only one answer: Absolutely YES!!......After entering the Colosseum, when the usher leads us to our seats, when the curtain rises slowly and when Céline enters the stage - with her special charisma, a mixture of gratitude, modesty and incredible sympathy - then we know, it was the right decision to come back ;-)

So, I completely agree with you!!

Wireless mic is the best! Neat looking unlike the wired mic.. It looks so messy on stage, and for the outfit

She had a gold mic for the first few shows of this run. Looks like she went back to the black one.

Hi everyone. I am home now. Just wanted to let you guys know my uploads and review will take me a bit longer then anticipated. See first off our plane was delayed last night due to a huge backup on the runway because of high winds. Then the high winds caused our flight to be longer then anticipated. Then when I got home I became violently ill and was in bed all night. Today I could barely get out of bed and now that I did I had to go and do some last minute grocery shopping for Thanksgiving dinner. It's Thanksgiving today in Canada. We won't be celebrating today because we just learned yesterday that our friends funeral who died unexpectedly days before we left is tonight so our Thanksgiving dinner won't be till tomorrow. So hence I'm a bit backed up in unpacking and uploading and getting organized so I'll aim for tomorrow but if not Wednesday. Hopefully I can have it done by then. The latest will be Thursday. Apologies again for the delay. I did not expect this to happen.

Sorry to hear about your friend. From your other post, I’m really happy to see how much you enjoyed your trip. Unfortunately, my husband, son, and I arrived in Vegas just a few hours before the events of October 1st. We were staying at the MGM and had only been downstairs to see the sites for about an hour when all hell broke loose. We ended up running in a stampede of people, falling to the ground when people were screaming, and spending time hiding in a kitchen. I really can’t believe the things we heard from people who actually saw rows of people falling to the ground after being shot so it’s just something I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forget. It’s almost been two full weeks and my knees and hand are still bruised from falling, and I can still close my eyes and see a girl as plain as day with blood all over her leg. Everything for us was cancelled except for Céline, and while I truly enjoyed her show, I never relaxed enough to really ENJOY it. Vegas has been a place I’ve loved visiting for the weather - Céline was just the icing on the cake so to speak. Now, that feeling is gone. I doubt I will ever want to go to Vegas again, and the thought of being in a crowd makes my pulse start to race. I’m actually very angry more than anything. A complete stranger has taken something from me that I won’t be able to get back...my love for being out in the crowd and the lights of Vegas. For those of you still able to enjoy yourselves, I wish you well.

I am so very sorry to hear you were there during this. I was the opposite of you, as I had just left Vegas a few hours prior to the shooting. It shook me to the core having just been there. As I was getting home from our trip my phone was going off with all sorts of notifications about this tragic event and I felt gutted. But you and your family...just reading about your experience brings me to tears. I can't even imagine being in the middle of this horror. God bless you and your family. I know you must feel shattered inside.

This is terrible! I am so sorry this happened to you. I wasn't even in Vegas at the time but hearing and watching the footage scarred me badly. I was terrified to go through with the trip. I am glad I did though. If there is anything I or any of us can do to help please let us know. I do hope some day you will be able to return to Vegas and have happier memories

So sorry to hear about this horrifying experience but glad you are safe. Also glad you were able to attend Celine's show. It's sick that one deranged person can cause so much damage / torment.

I hope you are able to heal and focus on all of the good times you had in Las Vegas.

I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

I would definitely contact the Colosseum and see if they can help. They have a webpage on accommodations for disabilities including hearing impairments: http://www.thecolosseum.com/thevenue/guest-services/disabled-services

Thanks for the information! I will contact them.

And yes, music industry should be more aware of people with a disability, although I don’t feel like being one.

Best thing would be ‘live captioning’ :-).

Tiago have you been able to find any clips from BYLM from that night? Specifically towards the end where she gets the crowd to sing? And thank you for sharing this!

I'll be attending the first show back on November 7th.

Question:

At what point are audience members able to run down to the stage for the "pit"? After what song / before what song?
