You're in the minority on this one, I'm afraid. You can't let them win. You have to go on living. If you continue to wallow in fear, the terrorists win. Yes, the goal is to kill people but if they can have collateral damage in the form of people too fearful to go out and continue to live life...that's what they're counting on. We can't let that happen. Celine is smart. I'm sure she consulted with her security and Caesars/The Colosseum to make adjustments as needed. #TheShowMustGoOn

I completely understand and do want Vegas to get back to normal.

I think it was just the way I was feeling last night.

I honestly don't get why the press are reporting on the fact that Celine still plans to go on with her show this week in Vegas?!?

 

So are all the other performers and shows on the strip... and why shouldn't they!

Well Cirque cancelled all shows yesterday. And all the ones on Sunday night were on lockdown until it was determined it's safe to leave. And I guess outside of Cirque, Celine is the most iconic, mainstay Vegas performer, so only natural for the press to single her out.

I doubt Celine ever anticipated these are the types of decisions she'd have to be making in her career...whether or not to go on after bombings, shootings and other acts of terror. :cry: I wish I could be there tonight to show my support.

I'm hoping someone gets tonight's concert in full, i know she will have to address this in her speech tonight. This isn't just a city for Celine its her home, her childrens home, I bet this has really shocken her up, all of this happend less than a mile away from The Colosseum. I'm sure " Recovering" will have a new meaning tonight. So sad :(

I wish somebody would do something/ attempt to do something to make this stop...........somebody in power.

I feel like these type of terrorist attacks are just going to keep on happening, its so common now............... I know this particular attack would have been very hard to prevent, because he was shooting from a hotel so high up, but how can one guy be allowed to own 23/ 19 guns ? how ever many guns he had?

it seems so crazy.

Yes I know people in some states in America are allowed guns, but how can one person get that many guns ! Oh I don't know, I just feel like nothing is being done...... :(

Whether or not people are allowed to own guns does not matter. Someone who wants to commit a crime, murder, terrorism....they will always be able to get a gun. As for the amount of guns......doesn't matter. It only takes one. I know many people who have much larger collections than this. They are not out shooting people on the street or elsewhere. No it DOES matter. Here in Holland we can't carry a gun to defend ourselves. How many times children get their father's gun in their hands or a lunatic who shoots at a school and now this lunatic in Vegas. It should stop. Now.

If I were Céline, I'd not only do the show but I'd bring the kids. This is their town, their community...This might be the time to teach them about resilience in the face of evil...

I mean I would like that... but then think it’d be capitalizing over how all these people went through horrible tragedies themselves. So who knows. She probably will release a video statement, if anything.

Guys she only has the rest of this week, before she off for the month of Oct , So see only has until this weekend to do shows,

She wouldn't be capitalising as she isn't selling anything.... if there's anything this last few years have shown.... people love to hear from Celine in a tradegy...

If she were to do a song for tonight, and an English one, Imagine would be lovely.

 

Can't see her doing anything different tonight though, apart from a speech obviously.
