They of course tell you no but they know that everyone is doing it. I filmed from the front on opening night and nobody said anything. She even looks right at you. Now, that being said, I didn't make it too obvious. :giggle:

I know what you are saying about the iPhone camera though because yes, the lighting plays tricks on mine also. I think Androids make better cameras.

So good to know I am not the only one who is having problems with their Iphone and the lighting in the Colosseum. Yes everyone was taking pics last time I went. But what are they like with let's say a normal Sony camera with the flash off? Have you seen anyone using their normal camera? Because if you ask me if the flash is off it's basically the same thing as using your camera phone so I can't see what's the big deal. Also aw so sweet! Your so welcome! I love doing it! :wub: :hug:

 

They are also very specific about not wanting you to record or take pictures in Vegas aren't they. They announce that in French and English before the show begins.

 

I can't remember if they did this last time but when I went the first time in 2011 they were crazy strict. Last time it was alot easier.

Remember the videos of the show don't always do it justice. It's a solid show.

 

This exactly. Since I do the updates it's almost like I watch the show every single night. I'll admit last year before I went i was sick of it. But when I got there and saw it in person my gosh the videos DO NOT under any circumstances do the show justice.

It is front orc4, row ee/5, mid; I paid 541 USD, can go as low as 300 USD.

I did not get my leave/offs/Lax flight :(.

Sorry you aren't able to go but luckily it looks like Celine will be in Vegas for a while so hopefully you can reschedule! :)

Thank you :* I hope/pray there are shows on 24/25th of March, when I do have a bit of leave... It will be my 1st Vegas (just thinking about it makes me melt).

Regular cameras I haven't seen used but a ton of phones yes.

And this is true, in person, with the surrounding excitement, in front of her, seeing the show is fantastic!

Have you tried calling box office? Despite their policy, they'll often take back tickets (or so I gather from stories on here anyway). So might be worth a shot.

Well it is lipped. I think most of us are aware of it. It doesn't seem like zuv was suggesting anything negative about it.

Well first of all it isn't lipped and it's negative to say it is, so yea.

Just got back from the show tonight. Celine was on fire and so was the crowd! She had some total diva moments which were fantastic, and the change up in the setlist (I refused to look at this site to see what changed until I saw the show) was amazing. She sounded phenomenal!!!! Ugh still on the high right now!

How can you make a statement saying she had diva moments and then fail to say what happened. Spill the tea, please. :o

Also I am going to try one more time and ask this question. To the people who go and see the show quite often. What is security like with cameras? Ok so I currently have an Iphone 6s Plus which I used last time and security was fine with it. I have to admit though I did struggle quite a bit with it because it just seems like it doesn't like the lighting in the Colosseum. It was very difficult for me to get good photos despite adjusting the exposure level. So this time I was thinking of using my normal Sony camera with the flash off.I have no clue though what they are like with normal cameras during the show. I took photos prior to the show with my normal camera last time no problem. Back in 2011 when I first saw the show they wouldn't even let you take photos before the show. I found that to be very odd. But they lost control of the crowd during RDMH and MHWGO and that was the only time I was able to snag a few quick pics back then on my ghetto Nokia camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

iphones aren't as good as Samsung. Especially with concert lighting. They might take your camera and delete the photos from the SD card, so it's better to take your phone, but use a Samsung cuz it's better.

Exactly one year ago, I met Celine Dion and my life was changed forever!! It was a beautiful moment to talk to my idol and tell her how much I loved her!!! Gosh I can't believe it's been a whole year!!

Wow, Celine took multiple pics in many different poses with you. You are so lucky.

Apparently I am the only other person wo is thinking like this, but I totally agree. The show is not really that boring though I do agree that the Vetgas audiences are. Also, in European shows people live-stream the whole show or as much as the arena's internet will let them. lol But in Vegas they don't/can't. I do also wish we had more than just ten second instagram vido clips. Rvery so often I like to hear how she is doing certain songs, like mostly, recovering, how does a moment last forever, and lately, think twice and I'm your angel. So I do wish there were clips of the show these days too.

I just think Europeans (except UK), are better with technology than Americans, that's why you get so many good quality videos on youtube whenever she's performing in Europe.

Ok thanks. I will see what I do. Maybe I will bring both and see what the rest of the crowd does!

My dad just got me this phone for my birthday last year so I can't change it quite yet. *sigh* Last time they were cool about taking photos with your normal camera before but I didn't pay attention to what happened during the show. I was afraid to even use my iphone then because of how strict they were the first time i had gone in 2011

Based on my summer experience - Between a Samsung S8/Huawei P10/Iphone 7 plus, from front rows, the colors etc come out better on the IPhone (due to the lenses they use since IPhone 6).

I just looked that performance up and it clearly wasn't playback. The melismas and notes were so different from the album
