I'll upload the show in parts of a maximum of 10 minutes each.I don't want to push my luck."Better safe than sorry", as you say in English.

Céline's fans who dont undestand French are lucky Daylimotion doesn't block or delete this video like YouTube did.In French, the show can be viewed on Tou.tv, which belongs to Radio-Canada,who makes money with the numerous commercial breaks.It's normal that RC doesn't want other sites to stream the same show,that they produced,without commercials.

I muted the songs to avoid copyrights infringement on them,but I think it's still very enjoyable to watch because Céline was on fire.

Don't quit watching before the end of the songs,when the audio is back.

I really feel she got stuck in this one genre of ballads and love songs because you can see how passionate she is about grittier material. Was it the record company or Rene that would kept her in a box or was it both?

I think it was the mass audience and her record company. With LMBTL she really branched out from what we expected. I think the record company thought "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and were unwilling to change. I hope she really does a song unlike others for this next record!! She really branched out for Encore Un Soir and I for one loved it!

I rewatched this special in full, and I enjoyed it as much as the first time or even more. Bravo to the production team of this show. It has to be the best tribute show it's ever been done dedicated to Celine :in_love: :yes:

 

Btw, the way they tied one song together with the other, mixing styles and songs from Céline with so many unrelated artists, it's genious. This puts to shame any of her Vegas shows anytime now. This was not just music, but a combination of powerful music styles, music from different ages and also theatrical production and dancing. Proves that you don't need to have the biggest stage on Earth to do a good show that keeps your eyes and ears open from start to end, like they did with this Canadian production :)

Is there anyone here that downloaded the show from Nabbox and has the zip file part 7 available? I was extracting the files I have only to find out that the last part is missing so I can't extract the show.

I have dropbox if anyone can share the file with me, thanx

So tonight's guest on En direct de l'univers is none other than... drumroll... Julie Snyder.

 

La presse wrote article about it and it ends like this -

 

"Avec les événements des derniers mois, on ne se surprendra pas que Céline Dion ne se soit pas prêtée à l’émission, ne serait-ce qu’en vidéo. Mais j’étais quand même étonné qu’on ne reprenne aucune chanson de la star, peut-être un choix de l’invitée. Après tout, les noms de Céline et Julie ont longtemps été intimement liés. Surpris aussi de ne pas y voir Michel Drucker, un ami de longue date. N’empêche, le party a levé, comme c’est toujours le cas sur le plateau de France Beaudoin."

Yeah they are clearly not friends anymore I think. Or were they ever?

 

I would have thought that if they were, they would have reached out for Céline. I mean they even got Sia to say a few word to Céline in September

Yeah I agree, that haircut was my favorite for a long long time. When I saw on one of the live videos from the concerts in Montréal that she cut her hair I got so excited!! Gosh us fans have a lot of love/hate relationship with her hair haha :giggle:

 

And yes Condor is amazing. I truly don't think he understands fully how happy he's making us by making subtitles. I have an alert that I get an email and Youtube announcement on my phone when ever he posts something new :innocent:

I loved watching Michel on En Direct de l'Univers, first of all because you could tell he was LOVING it but also because it was fun to see Céline talk about him... you can tell she loves him and is proud of him.

Yes! I also loved how she clearly still knows every word to Michel's hit song!

 

This first segment was just pure joy. Can't stop smiling watching it. And LOVE that infectious doo-wop version of MHWGO.

I absolutely love this show! I can watch it over and over again.

 

Watching the twins on the show, they show no emotion at all. I know there were just turning 6. I just wonder if they were in shock, seeing so much stuff happening. I can't imagine what's going through their heads seeing all that.

They are extremely well behaved kids. Like at the funeral, they could sit still the entire ceremony. What 5 year old can do that??
