They probably had a conversation where Pepe told Celine it was OK to publicly out him as gay in order to tame the press, but I don't think they distanced each other by choice, because they were touring together up to Covid. I watch yearly, and couldn’t believe what they doing to the once celebrated institution but it seems they are trying to get back to the class and legend feel to the show.
