Celine's stylist: Law Roach

I think Céline is being VERY nice to credit Annie but she has nothing to do with her getting this award. It is all because of Law. No matter whom you like more, Annie or Law.

Sure, but nice, too, of Annie to accept it on Celine's behalf (seeing as she was effectively fired, no?)

It's a HUGE surprise actually. I thought Annie didn't like Céline after she got fired. She doesn't follow her on Social media.

I wonder if Céline asked Annie to accept the award on her behalf or the Award ceremony asked her..

Who ever said that Annie was “fired”?

And Celine is where she is today fashion wise because of Annie... Law just took it in another direction!

Maybe not technically "fired", but Annie was definitely replaced by Law in Céline's entourage. That must've stung a bit after all those years.

Having Annie accept that award may have been an effort on Céline's part to mend fences?

Nobody noticed her when Annie was in charge, so I don't see how Annie is responsible for where Celine is today fashion wise.

I think Celine on her own has a great sense of fashion. And Law is way more creative out of the box person, so together they create the most amazing things.

Annie is also great, but just more casual creative :giggle:

Somebody on Celine’s team in 2013/2014 (I think it was her publicist) said on record, when Annie and Celine stopped working together for a few months, that they often have disagreements and then get over it. And, it was true...they started working together again after that. And they probably will again in the future.

Honestly I don't like Law Roach's style. I miss Annie Horth so very much: her elegance, glamour and class. Anyway I think he will be working with her only on this tour. Then - please - bring Annie back to work with Céline.

This....Is Annie back?

After his post yesterday I’m wondering if this could have something to do with Céline bc1300dc406ece9a2b1d5213df210fd2.png

Yeah I wonder as well. I think it has something to do with her every day clothing during the tour.

Maybe they read our comments here and need to quickly design new dresses for the tour :D that would be awesome!

I liked Annie, she did a great job for the Un Soel Fois concert. She was more elegant and classy. I also liked Laws style. It was more daring, although I don’t love all of his choices (that brown tiger style outfit with the brown hat scares me till today), but most of his stage outfits were nice. He was a breeze of fresh air. But these current looks for the Asia tour are not flattering, there are absolutely no highlights. The black dress and the green dress are ok (although the pink shoulderpads are kinda weird), but they are just ok, nothing breathtaking. I think that when Celine goes on tour to give concerts in other countries, she has to shine! And that isn’t currently the case with the current tour outfits she presented in Vegas. Edited by ryba

Re. MHWGO @ Billboards -

"That is probably one my career-defining moments. I had never received so many texts and emails and DMs on social media from other stylist and my peers. I still get chills every time I think about it. It was such an emotional moment for me to part of that. She’s celebrating this song that literally is so important to her career and it was the 20th year anniversary of the 'Titanic.' There were so many things that lead up to it and it was the only time so far that I literally cried," Roach told AOL exclusively during an NYFW Disney celebration for Minnie Mouse’s 90th year anniversary.

"When that chandelier came up I just bursted out into tears and then I looked around the room and everyone was crying - rappers were crying! It was the voice, the women and the legend and the song and that dress. It was super, super powerful to be a part of that."

This! I always say this to mimi fans when they keep on comparing céline to mimi. That’s why she can still sold out shows and people keep on coming because it’s not only the high notes but because of the songs and by the way she sing her songs that makes you cry

While in mimi’s concert all i can see is cheering like they always waiting for the high notes which i feel bad for mimi lol

OMG! Haha

No, what i’m saying if céline do a concert and when she performs an emotional songs like S’il suffisait d’aimer, My heart will go on, etc. You can see many people from the audience are crying. Even just seeing her live. Her french songs are more emotional than her english songs. That’s why i love her french songs

Beat me to it. It's a good read.

It's a shame she didn't go to this years Met Gala (wasn't invited?), it would have been so interesting to see what he would have dressed her in. The Zendaya/Joan of Arc look was incredible.

"She walked out and the world went absolutely crazy. It was like all eyes were on us from that point.”

“This is a woman that’s been around for 30 years, and all of a sudden people are respecting her in a different light outside the music industry,” says Roach. His looks told a story about Céline Dion the internet could seize and immediately obsess over: that after suffering a devastating loss, she had emerged from grief completely remade, born anew as a fashion star. When she showed up to the Billboard Music Awards last year to deliver a show-stopping performance of “My Heart Will Go On,” Roach put her in a white Stéphane Rolland dress with tumescent shoulders that rendered her silhouette in the shape of a heart. Online, the photos were impossible to escape.

“[When] I traveled the world, people really stopped me to have debates about Céline’s looks,” says Roach. “Or they stopped me to tell me, ‘Oh my god, I was at work and my coworkers and I were arguing about the white outfit.’ This had really become something that entertained the world. When I stopped to think about that, I got chills.”
