But unfortunately that didn’t last longer than 2 years... I thought that her career was pretty much over, but Aldo proved me wrong. He showed us what is still possible. She could've disagreed with his choosing from the start, choosing to placate Rene since he was dying. Or, she just disagreed with Aldo's approach...Celine perhaps had her own opinions that clashed with his. Rene got special control because that's how it always worked and he was her husband, but with Aldo I doubt she would have had issues asserting herself as much and taking more control. But still, we have to wonder what the disagreements were and the reasons. It's just I don't expect Rene picking him to be a reason to keep someone she otherwise didn't like. 1 Quote
