So I went to a Lindsey Stirling show last night.

 

Last minute impulsive thing - I don't really know her music and don't particularly follow, but clearly have seen a number of the YT videos.

Anyway, it was certainly fun, and recommended, but be prepared for some preaching (though maybe because it was a Christmas show, which I didn't know going in).

She's not the greatest violinist, nor the greatest dancer, nor the greatest singer - but she sure is great at the combination of the three! I suppose it all gets a bit gimmicky after a while, but think it would have been less so if she performed her own material rather than Christmas tunes. It all definitely makes for a fun and varied show.

Sadly, I fear this decreases the chances of Celine performing at these BBMAs. Not because of some supposed diva feud, but because the producers will probably want to avoid 90s diva overload.

Too bad, because it's good timing - May 1 in Vegas.

Greeaaaaaaat, I love when a Award ceremony/ tv show name Celine “The Biggest Selling Female Artist of All Time” and then say it about Mariah 5 minutes later :giggle:

The naughty part of me wants Celine to perform and steal the spotlight. :w00t: Or at least just show up looking FABULOUS.

 

But the not-so-naughty part of me is proud of Mariah. I have so many childhood memories listening to Mariah songs. :) Mariah's Music Box album & Celine's Celine Dion album is basically my childhood in a nutshell.

 

I thought Mariah was so great in the early 90s. Strange how time changes perspective. (If you think Mariah was never talented, you're crazy! Go watch her MTV Unplugged performance.) I think she's a very talented woman and songwriter. And she's done her best to keep her career going strong despite losing the power in her voice.

 

But the Billboard Awards should do something for Celine this year! This is the year she's stepping away from Vegas so they should do something to acknowledge / honor her.

90s BALLADS yes, thanks to Adele a few years ago they are back but when it comes to uptempo songs they will be unsuccessful and cheesy if they are anything like the ones from the 90s, only exception being TTWII.

So since this was pushed up I might as well ask here too. Did anyone rip the Vevo version cause it's no longer available. I thought I had but can't find it on my desktop anywhere and im angry with myself now.

There are many videos on YouTube that even have an intro before performing... The vevo version is just the performance no intros

Honestly,i really dont care about her but you can say the same thing about Celine to her lambs and youll find that they are so unreasonable to communicate with. Besides i hope celine will attend the show and totally kills it and let mooriah shut up.

Mariah deserves it. I don’t care about her fans because mostly are delusional. Why need to communicate to them? LOL just be sarcastic and they will shut up lol

tbh it wasn't just the intro that was removed I also have always really liked the quality of vevo videos.

The worst thing I see on Instagram is Céline fans slagging Mariah. It’s embarrassing and so childish. Let them do what they want and say what they want, but Céline has got to where she is through talent and class, not bitching and crass. I just made that up- thank you, goodnight.

OMG, you have to see comments from Lamb Indonesia, they are so nasty like they dedicate their self just to be nasty. It's the nastiest people I've ever known, they even join Celine's group so they can throw their hatred. I don't think you can imagine how bad their attitude. Maybe not all of them like that, but the bad one is brutally attacking people. It's like terrorist in Divas world.

We don’t have Tapatalk version yet and that’s good. Céline fans are much better fans and not delusional unlike the mimi fans in Tapatalk

She’s so B.I. and the fans are following her like it’s the best thing to do that’s why there’s fights going on...
