I love the fog for MHWGO. Its perfect for the song. It's like the elevator emerges from the clouds

I love it too. When the water hits it and it goes flying it looks so mystical and elusive. I love it!

I still think she needs at least a week off for the 1.000 :/ so her voice could be better and less raspy

Just compiled MHWGO from the 27th. She is really starting to sound much better, she's probably getting used to the climate, schedule and everyithing.

And here we go with the last night's Titanic. Her melisma at 0:15 sounds interesting, the low note is quite good.

They have changed the lighting and added the fog, haven't they? It looks just gorgeously amazing, the way the fog dissapears when the last chorus begins... It's just so suitable, so symbolic for such a moment. By the way, she sang "Forever" once again in head voice. It wasn't as flawless as she did it the previous time, but still sounds interesting for a change.

The show was amazing last night! I approve of the one less costume change, not a shorter show, means more audience interaction. Her beginning speech was almost ten minutes and she was as genuinely happy at the show as she was on Tour this Summer. The entire audience was on fire standing up for the entirety of Kiss, Purple Rain, LCMM, RDMH and The Show Must Go On. I am surprised not more photos and videos have shown up because there were certainly plenty taking them. She took someone's phone during RDMH and did a singing video selfie so would love to see that footage show up!

The raspiness in TSMGO is really painful. I know the song is good with the raspiness in voice because it is originally rock, but we know Celine is not a rock singer, and we know that raspiness is not her thing. She is a clear belter for high note. I know she is aged, but that raspiness is not because of aging but because of her tired vocal chord.

 

Well, suddenly the last high note is belted with a perfect voice.... we know that last note is playback but please, get yourself rest so that the raspiness part should sounded clear, then it will be followed by that "perfect playback" well.

 

I always wonder when she had a sore throat in TCWT Arizona, she showed that her voice is not in a good shape during ABM because she sang it Live except the big note, but that night, she suddenly can sing TPOL, IACBTMN and several songs with a very perfect voice. That really shows she did playback for that song. But it doesnt matter because it is the different song. But here in TSMGO, how can you fool the audience with that raspiness in the chorus, but then you did perfectly well for the ending. The same song. That really showed up that you are using playback for that ending note. So, to hide this, she needs to rest her vocal until she finds it back.

 

I miss her voice when she sing Nature Boys and At Last in AND before, where the note is so clear and powerful. But now, we lost that clearity in her voice because it is overused and tired. Recovering should be sounded the same like Nature Boys and At Last before because it is a slow song, but Recovering comes with that raw and tired voice. So sad.

 

Please have your vocal chord rest and start your vocal exercise back Celine. I hope her team read this. Thank you.

Yes this is what I thought. CelineDionFreak was curious whether it was from the 27th or if it was from an earlier date. In which case it was from an earlier date but the instagram videos were from the 27th

Have you all notice that all the IG video's are of MHWGO, there are so many of them , don't these ppl ever record something else beside just that song, that's getting really Boring ,, Btw I just wish she would sing the first note with just the whistle

I went to last nights show and it was amazing! All this nit picking going on in this forum is so unjustified - she seemed really happy and sounded amazing! Her Vegas shows can't be compared to her tours - not the same kinda people go. The energy is totally different.

 

In regards to people just taking videos of the same songs - and later ones in the show - I think it's because people are still told no cameras and video recording allowed. It's not until later on people feel confident to film. I took some snippets - I'll try post if I can.

 

If I have one critique - it would be that I'm Alive needs to speed up a little :)

I can't believe they took away "Somewhere over the rainbow".

 

I can't believe that the first live performance is the 5th one!

 

I can't believe this has become her vocally lighest show : 2 belts in MYWGO ( she hasn't been able to do lately), rest is either playback or head voice. WTF !
