Thank God they finally got tired of the awful long opening dress and went back to this beauty

On video and picture it looked so lame.

 

Glad to see the 2011 dress is back, that one she looked good in!

 

Maybe they go back in time for the 1000th show and we get that horrible red dress and that curtain she wore during MHWGO during AND back in the coming shows 😂😂

TSMGO? What I can't believe is that she's still performing this song today.

 

Seriously, after the TCWT in 2008? She should have put it to rest.

 

After this year's Billboard performance? She should have buried it!

 

It's a song that had its peak during the TCWT and now it's so overly done. Does it sound tiresome to you? Well, that's exactly what happens when Céline's team try to wear out a song that was meant to have a specific use and a short life. Which in this case, it's start was and should have been the Taking Chances World Tour. And the tribute in Billboards if that was her wish. Period!

Last nights MHWGO was the best yet she's done on this Vegas run. I'm convinced it's just her body reacclamating to the dry climate in Vegas. But she's doing amazing!!

and for her voice i think it's been rough for the past week or so but after watched / heard from last nite show i can say she's getting better well i should say her voice is recovering!

What's funny is the first night back I thought the black one with the stars was the same until I saw it closer! For me the Schiaparelli black dress is nearly identical to the bond dress tbh.

Me too! The Beethoven arrangement gives a whole new life to the song, I'm glad they have brought it back, but in a new way. I loved, absolutely loved it in the TCWT and loved it being sung, but I would've been a little tired if they brought back the old version, I agree.

Yeah I can see the silent days... not lol I can see her motioning to the twins whatever she was gonna say, but not really. She loves and lives through her kids so the silent days are over, at least for now.

I agree with Tyler, the current state of the show is a mess. The setlist is so disjointed and her voice is very raspy. I have decided I absolutely hate that black dress she wears with the long sleeves, it's so old looking. She needs to drop ABM like a bad habit, as well as TSMGO. I've always thought LCMM needed to go a long time ago, it's a butcher job the last 15 years with all the squeaking she does. RDMH is long tired as well. This is a classic example of Céline on auto pilot.

 

The contrast between this show and the French tour is painful really. She was finally coming across as current and interesting, her voice was on fire, she was singing many songs that she's never done before, experimenting with different looks, it was like a brand new Céline. Then she goes back to Vegas and it's like she went right back and slipped into her same old routine, singing the same songs and wearing the same outfits she's worn for years, making the same speeches. I just don't understand for the life of me why she's so complacent in Vegas. It's like she's an accountant in Vegas and everywhere else she's a rock star. She made such great progress with changing up her band and manager a year ago, and she seems to have stalled again.
