I think that EUS has no chance (any song these days really) of passing those sales.. but in terms of performance. she has a slight chance actually! Especially if they release that darn video. Yes, lyrics are gold material but musically talking, I find it weak, for a JJG song. Only because it's been written and composed by JJG doesn't mean it had to be the greatest piece he's done right? Please don't kill me now... Notice the respect I have for Mr. Jean-Jacques "genious" Goldman that I took 4 months to post this review (Well I suppose I've just been waiting until the album was released to judge and compare and see if there were songs I liked more than this one-which now I can say there are in effect ). So the lyrics are top notch to me but the melody is... boring and flat. I miss some climax. In all the songs JJG wrote for Celine, this one is my favourite:) I think they should make a really good video. Most of her MVs are actually not of great quality. The ones in Falling into you are great. I hope a MV for this song could have the quality of that level. 1 Quote

To me, Pour que tu m'aimes encore is a lot better than EUS. It took me a while to like EUS. Actually I started loving it when the album came out. I had stopped listening to the song and all of a sudden I rediscovered it. Now I can say I like it a lot! Quote

The regular radio edit was beautiful and still is the best in my opinion. As I said before , the album version sounds different, is mixed different and the end is an anticlimax with all those not neccessary adlibs. Live it was fantastic and it was the climax, but on the album version it is really lacking the message it had. I felt like in the end of the standard radio edit, it was powerful and suddenly stops at the right moment. Symbolizing, life and that silence after when life has stopped. This song talks about embracing the life you got on this earth, take everything you can , make the best of it, be loved and love in return. This melody is amazing, this whole song is amazing.
