Not really my idea of celebrating my birthday, watching this. But can't not watch it. Also its now 11.20pm, we've still got another 3 hours and i have to be up for work at 6am. Oh dear :(

But still, i can't not watch.

 

I'm in the same boat ! I'm up at 7 , but I only have to work until 2 o'clock ! I can't stop watching. I know it's silly but I feel like I'm letting Celine down if I turn it off , I feel like I wouldn't be supporting her anymore or something 😞 ps happy birthday !

Is what's being broadcast on TV in Canada the same as the stream from etcanada site? I wish I tuned in much earlier, hope someone recorded the whole event.

I think there will be even more people going now, since the work day is now over.

 

If Celine intends to see everyone, she will be there for a long time...

I've turned the stream off twice since it started, and keep turning down the audio, but i keep watching, hoping maybe I'll hear her voice at some point.

As weird as this may seem, even though the circustances are terrible, I feel kind of special, being part of this worldwide gathering of fans.

you are not alone UK friends lol! Actually have the day off tomorrow but by the time the funeral starts it'll be like 9pm here and im up for work at 3am Saturday , Celine needs us even if we're not there, we're there in our hearts.

RDI has a special broadcast earlier this afternoon for 1 hour. None of the networks, CTV, CBC, TVA, RDI and the governement channels have the full stream like on the web. Tomorrow I know several networks will broadcast the funeral tomorrow. Based on the allocated slots it looks like some networks will probably have a look back at his career before the funeral.

For sure Celine is well prepared ahead of time. She is showing a lot of strength and courage. I'm so proud to be a fan. Wish I could be there.
