sfbaysinger Posted January 21, 2016 at 01:37 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 01:37 AM oor RC. It has to be hard to lose your same-gender parent. Especially when you're the oldest and have to keep it together for the little ones who really don't have a clue what's going on. I'm not one bit surprised that she'll stay at the chapel tomorrow the whole time, she wouldn't want to miss a single second of it. Quote L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!
maria_k Posted January 21, 2016 at 01:38 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 01:38 AM Few minutes ago they added a short video and it seems like RC is taller than Celine even she is on heels Quote
Popular Post Alex_Incognito Posted January 21, 2016 at 01:42 AM Popular Post Posted January 21, 2016 at 01:42 AM Man, having a People magazine with Rene's death on the cover really hurts. This really sucks. We should all be grateful for what we have. 9 Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

CelineDionFreak Posted January 21, 2016 at 02:44 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 02:44 AM Considering her husband just died, I think she looks okay. It could be worse... But she's far from looking great ether. Only time will heal the wound. 1 Quote I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!
rhapsodion Posted January 21, 2016 at 02:57 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 02:57 AM I think she looks exactly like how an ordinary human suppose to look like, that is probably how she looks normally on her off-work days. Considering all the circumstances, i think she looks better than many people would do. Most importantly, it makes me feel better to see her smile and seems to be joking with her friends. So thankful for that. 4 Quote
ThisTime Posted January 21, 2016 at 03:05 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 03:05 AM Hey everyone. I have been keeping up to date with the thread but not posting. I have in the past tried to use hola and several other browser extensions to watch things on CBC from the US and they did not work. If you are trying to watch via CBC I would try watching videos on their website beforehand and if you cannot get it to work you can try TunnelBear. They have a free version but I don't know how much bandwith it offers on the free one. It's worth a shot though or if you really wanted you could buy it. It's like 6 dollars. If anyone knows of a screen capture program to record sound and video on your screen I could try record any CBC live streams if I am able to be home on Friday. I've also gotten very hard streams to rip using Replay Media Catcher. Both I needed to pay for in order to use the full version. Now I've never actually tried to rip during a live stream. I do wonder if CBC will upload the full funeral to their site afterwards. They do that alot with many programs I've watched from them. Ok guys I'm signing off for the night cause tomorrow will be the first of a few hard days for all of us. I'll be up by 10am tomorrow (the wake airs at 11am PST on RDI Canada) so I'll post whatever I find in terms of links and videos and photos and such tomorrow(hopefully in real time!) So see you all then! Edited January 21, 2016 at 04:42 AM by Kristinaz Quote

Angel2006 Posted January 21, 2016 at 06:48 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 06:48 AM Seeing that video of Celine and RC, I'm surprised at how strong they both look. I shouldn't be surprised because Celine has shown time and time again just how strong she can be, but her strength still always seems to amaze me. She looks a lot better then I expected. I know she is trying to stay strong for her kids. I know she most be a complete mess behind closed doors, when her children are asleep. It just makes me so sad that they are dealing with this. Especially with the twins being so young and RC being just 4 days shy of his fifteenth birthday. 2 Quote
Kristinaz Posted January 21, 2016 at 06:53 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 06:53 AM (edited) I'm not entirely sure since the site has changed since I last followed a live stream but for people in Canada one of these should work come Fridayhttp://www.cbc.ca/player/http://www.cbc.ca/player/tv/Live I think there may be a few alternative links that people have posted on here for people outside of Canada(not entirely sure tbh) but if it is it's def a few pages back. manu23 Posted January 21, 2016 at 08:30 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 08:30 AM She looks totally fine giving the circumstances, I was expecting much worst. Rene's death although painful was expected, they have been preparing for months, also it's been a week already so they are more calmed (in Spain funerals are usually the day after the death so people are quite affected but Celine looks well). I wouldn't be surprised if she actually comes back on February 23rd, is the best she can do. 3 Quote

That is what feels comfortable to her. And right now she is grieving. She is a strong woman and fortunately she has many family and friends supporting her during these hard days. Domi Posted January 21, 2016 at 08:44 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 08:44 AM The first visitors that pay tribute to René Angélil in the chapel this afternoon might well offer their condolences to Celine Dion herself, reportedly intends to shake hands in public. The singer is expected to welcome visitors to 14h at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal "for about thirty minutes," said Wednesday the office of Francine Chaloult that deals with organizing the funeral.Celine Dion could repeat the gesture when closing under 21h. It is not impossible that the latter changes his mind at the last minute. Besides, since the beginning of the week, several questioned whether the artists meet with the public. But, whether present or not, a member of the family of René Angélil "be there" at any time to receive sympathy, assured the office of Francine Chaloult. http://www.journalde...de-rene-angelil 1 Quote
mirage Posted January 21, 2016 at 08:45 AM Posted January 21, 2016 at 08:45 AM She looks soooooo strong and good. Ofcourse u see the hurt and pain, but I see a woman who is so strong and will get through this. She and RC will be at the Chapel Of Rest to shake hands with the people that pay their respect.I can remember they did that also when Adhemar passed away, then the whole family was there all the time. And I really think you should not be afraid that people ask her for selfies.Sometimes we act like animals, but under certain circumstances we can be respectful and act like human 1 Quote
