oor RC. It has to be hard to lose your same-gender parent. Especially when you're the oldest and have to keep it together for the little ones who really don't have a clue what's going on. I'm not one bit surprised that she'll stay at the chapel tomorrow the whole time, she wouldn't want to miss a single second of it.

Considering her husband just died, I think she looks okay. It could be worse... But she's far from looking great ether. Only time will heal the wound.

I think she looks exactly like how an ordinary human suppose to look like, that is probably how she looks normally on her off-work days. Considering all the circumstances, i think she looks better than many people would do. Most importantly, it makes me feel better to see her smile and seems to be joking with her friends. So thankful for that.

If you are trying to watch via CBC I would try watching videos on their website beforehand and if you cannot get it to work you can try TunnelBear. They have a free version but I don't know how much bandwith it offers on the free one. It's worth a shot though or if you really wanted you could buy it. It's like 6 dollars. If anyone knows of a screen capture program to record sound and video on your screen I could try record any CBC live streams if I am able to be home on Friday.

I don't know if these work for what you want but when I ripped the Mandela memorial concert off CTV I used GetFLV it was the only program that worked. I've also gotten very hard streams to rip using Replay Media Catcher. Both I needed to pay for in order to use the full version. Now I've never actually tried to rip during a live stream. I do wonder if CBC will upload the full funeral to their site afterwards. They do that alot with many programs I've watched from them.

 

Ok guys I'm signing off for the night cause tomorrow will be the first of a few hard days for all of us. I'll be up by 10am tomorrow (the wake airs at 11am PST on RDI Canada) so I'll post whatever I find in terms of links and videos and photos and such tomorrow(hopefully in real time!) Poor Celine and RC! She's holding it together well. I think she is keeping strong in public for her kids. Only behind closed doors she lets herself cry and scream

Seeing that video of Celine and RC, I'm surprised at how strong they both look. I shouldn't be surprised because Celine has shown time and time again just how strong she can be, but her strength still always seems to amaze me. She looks a lot better then I expected. I know she is trying to stay strong for her kids. I know she most be a complete mess behind closed doors, when her children are asleep.

 

It just makes me so sad that they are dealing with this. Especially with the twins being so young and RC being just 4 days shy of his fifteenth birthday.

The actual funeral service is at 3pm EST according to the press release. That would be 9:00pm in France but for RDI at least programming begins before that. Not sure about TVA/LCN

She looks totally fine giving the circumstances, I was expecting much worst. Rene's death although painful was expected, they have been preparing for months, also it's been a week already so they are more calmed (in Spain funerals are usually the day after the death so people are quite affected but Celine looks well). I wouldn't be surprised if she actually comes back on February 23rd, is the best she can do.

Her face looks like she often looks whenever she is photographed outside the collosseum, then she wears her hair in a bun. That is what feels comfortable to her. And right now she is grieving. She is a strong woman and fortunately she has many family and friends supporting her during these hard days.

Ofcourse u see the hurt and pain, but I see a woman who is so strong and will get through this.

 

She and RC will be at the Chapel Of Rest to shake hands with the people that pay their respect.

I can remember they did that also when Adhemar passed away, then the whole family was there all the time.

 

And I really think you should not be afraid that people ask her for selfies.
