pat200 Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:48 AM Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:48 AM she looked great. struggled to find the key all throughout the song...but very emotional and powerful delivery. the power in her voice >> all other singers combined 3 Quote
onix Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:49 AM Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:49 AM I loved the way she turned around with the dress <3 just like she does right before the climax in MHWGO Classy DIVA ! 5 Quote Celine Dion en Guadalajara, MexicoDiciembre 2008 http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/8506/tourmexicoxd9lk5.jpg
Cuquito Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:49 AM Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:49 AM Loved the dress! Love the voice and the emotion! Everybody on their feet the hole performance! People crying! The QUEEN was here! Fabulous!!! 4 Quote
peanut91 Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:49 AM Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:49 AM NOBODY cares if it was off. It was strained.. hurt.. emotional.. but her voice was powerful.. strong and it shows that paris is strong even when its hurt.. 4 Quote
tomdalbou Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:49 AM Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:49 AM MagIt was off key. I totally blame it on the earpiece feedback. Just like Grammys 2004. They totally botched it for Celine. Poor thing Magnificent dress though Well... To be honest I was expecting this to be a bit off key. She's been very flat and tired lately. Listen to many bootlegs from her Vegas show. But overall, it was beautiful and emotional. She made me cry, and that's all that matters. Everybody cried. 1 Quote

chocolatechip15 Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:50 AM Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:50 AM The people crying in the audience got me. Yeah, it was very moving. I wondered how much of it was the song, and how much all the images of Paris on the screen (it was the combination, I guess). Very powerful. 2 Quote
CelineDionForeverNY Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:50 AM Posted November 23, 2015 at 03:50 AM (edited) I don't care that the performance was off-key for most of the song. The meaning of this song is worth so much more than the pitches that she hit. Just participated in an orchestra festival and the conductor said, "You can hit all the right notes, but not have the character of the song, and it's a failed performance. What is a successful performance and a greater accomplishment is one that captures the character, even though the notes aren't all there." This must have been very emotional for Celine and that came through in her performance. She looked like the gorgeous, strong diva she always has been. Very proud to be Celine's fan tonight. The audience obviously felt the POWER in her performance. I love that Celine was able to sing for France tonight. Very, very special and that matters more than anything. 13 Quote

chawatak Posted November 23, 2015 at 04:10 AM Posted November 23, 2015 at 04:10 AM (edited) The chorus she did great. She was just off during the verses only. She did well for the chorus. The ending was powerful! All in all, it's emotional!!! I love the last chorus: 3:24 she did great!!! This proves to the world that CELINE DION still can sing with this stunning power!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oijQARUi-m8 By this level of performance, I think only fans would complain coz we're perfectionists. But I think others would praise her definitely. Edited November 23, 2015 at 04:12 AM by chawatak 2 Quote LISTEN TO NEW SONG"Flying On My Own" ON REPEAT!!!> https://vimeo.com/328324551
