That's why I'm glad she's got December off. She can rest, enjoy the build up to the holidays with her family. She's worked so hard this year despite everything.

Those performances are great but so hard to watch.

She really has worked so so hard and much. I still can't believe how much she's done this year. I still think that this is her therapy. It probably gets her mind off a lot, because she loves what she does. I hope that having December off gives her the time for rejuvenation and to enjoy a peaceful time with her kids!

I adore the tone of these performances. They're just amazing. Sad, but beautiful all at the same time :heart:

I would love for Céline to be on that special but at the same time I really wonder about it. While yes, it would be good, Mariah is not that good. Her dress lately has been questionable too. It would be fun though! We'll just have to see!

I love Michael's personality though. Also, he's a crooner. He really can sing. Frank Sinatra was not the GREATEST singer. He just had personality. I'd put Michael in that same category.

It should be Celine (for sure), Kelly Clarkson, Faith Hill, and maybe through someone R&B like Mary J Blige or whomever had a decent Christmas LP.

No he cannot really sing. He is overrated and nowhere near close Frank Sinatra.

Bad timing for his album release also. My first thought was obviously of little 3 year old Noah and hoping it'll work out well and quickly, and second thought was it reminding me of Celine releasing LMBTL and very soon after Rene's news.

I think he's got charisma. He doesn't have a belting bombastic voice, but he's a crooner. That's his style. I like that he keeps big band alive in a modern way. I think he's got a smooth voice. This cover of "God Only Knows" is a class act.

 

 

And of course, my favorite performance of his...with Babs. They sound gorgeous together.

Luke i am shocked you say he can't sing. he is better than most male pop singers out there. his tone can get a bit annoying and sounds robotic at times yeah, but doesn't mean he can't sing. just listen to his nina simone's 'Feeling good' cover at davd foster's concert and tell me he can't sing. having said that, this is the only song of his i like hahahaha

He can sing,but the way he holds the microphone and moves his hand while singing really annoys me. I can't help it haha

So I rather hear him sing, than watch him
