I finally got to see Celine LIVE for the first time last night! It was such an unforgettable experience. I'm still in shock that I confirmed with my own eyes that she's actually a live human being.

 

It was definitely a special moment for me to see her in Montreal. If this was the first and last time I got to see her live, I'm glad it was in Montreal!

 

I didn't understand her onstage banter, but my boyfriend translated most of it for me. She is so much funnier when telling stories in French. lol

 

I'm still processing the entire experience. I will be thinking of this night for a long time!

Does anyone know anything about all of the jewelry she's been wearing on this tour? It's amazing, and I'd love to think she's wearing pieces Rene gave to her, but just a thought I'd like to be true. Does anyone know anything factual about her seemingly endless supply of diamonds?

 

Hi, I was lurking on here because I just got home from her final Montreal concert and couldn't sleep But when I saw this question, I figured I'd post.

 

I'm a journalist and get emailed a lot of press releases from companies about the celebrities that wear their jewelry/clothes, and I got a few about Celine in recent weeks. Here's the info I've gotten:

• Celine Dion wore Harry Kotlar diamond earrings and Hearts on Fire diamond rings during her interview on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’. For her performance, the French- Canadian superstar wore a Carrera y Carrera ring and Harry Kotlar diamond earrings on July 21, 2016 in New York City.
  
• In Paris in July, she wore Antonini black diamond and gold earrings and ring.
  
• In her Montreal shows with the black Christian Siriano outfit earlier this month, she wore a diamond necklace by Hearts on Fire.
  

No word on how she got the jewelry (the press releases are more about the companies that sell it), but I would assume at least some of it was gifted to her (so she could wear it and then those companies could send out said press releases to journalists and brag about the amazing diva who wears her stuff...) But keep in mind, that's only some of the jewelry she is wearing. Other pieces may very well be her own personal pieces. I don't get press releases about it all, unfortunately.

 

As an aside, I cannot get over how spectacular she was in Montreal. Tonight was perhaps her finest night, and that is saying a lot. Every concert she was giving her 150%. Unbelievable. I was there for 3 shows, spread out over the ~3 weeks she was in Montreal. The last time I saw her live was 8 years ago in Montreal. She keeps upping her game and I am left speechless every time.

I remember in the beginning of the tour, I wasn't too fond of the song "ordinaire" as Celine sang it in a choppy way, most of the notes were short. But now she seems to hold many of those notes a bit longer, being less choppy, and I really like how she sings it now. It sounds like it flows better altogether. I highly doubt Celine has the time, interest or know how to visit this forum, but her people do as has been mentioned before.

And it's nice to see that they take some things onboard!

 

That stylist is looking both desperate and amateur in terms of styling her onstage in Montreal, fair enough change the costumes, but stop going back to the white suit and changing the top all the time, it just seems like he is playing spin the wheel with tops to put with that suit... I honestly think Celine could pick a better onstage costume without him.

 

Love her new hair though!!!

If she read the board she has seen some of the comments comparing her dress with charlie from snoopy. She does not wear it anymore..

 

Btw redheads just posted a livestream and that dress..suit..thing. it looks like he put the scissors in the grandma curtain but it still looks hideous! Celine was a style icon in Paris, yet on stage this Law guy does not have a clue how to dress her..

She and her team have been telling us that she has been involved 100% in the set list, staging ect ect... but doesn't have any say so in what she wears? Come on! Yeah I've seen some of these comments. It's amazing that people still don't understand that she is going to sing in French in Paris or French Canada...

Personally I think she should do all French but what do I know lol!

I don't think Celine gave an English show in Canada since 1998!

She did give English shows in Canada during her TC tour. All shows outside of Montreal, Quebec and Ottawa were the English version of the tour.

I was a visual merchandiser for Emporio Armani and not to sound full of myself, but I could dress Celine 10x better than what she has worn in Montreal. It's just a bit bizarre. She looks beautiful but I think it detracts from the way she performs- she usually can use the clothes to enhance La Diva. In Paris, the outfit just worked- in Montreal- bad choices from Law Roach. But as DionFanAlways said, she has the ultimate say

I watched the live stream of celine's last show in Montreal. She sounds dry/tired and in river deep mountain high part She clears her throat like coughing. Maybe she needs to rest more maybe the no costume change is bad? How many times does she drinks this whole show?
