Does anyone know anything about all of the jewelry she's been wearing on this tour? It's amazing, and I'd love to think she's wearing pieces Rene gave to her, but just a thought I'd like to be true. Does anyone know anything factual about her seemingly endless supply of diamonds?

I hate to be too nitpicky, but I've loved every outfit of this tour so far and I do not like this new one at all. Not a big deal though.

 

I also absolutely do not like her letting the audience take the second high note in MHWGO. I don't wanna say it's a cop-out or that her voice is tired, I think it's simply enjoyable for her to have the audience all join in, but come on, those are the notes we all want to hear the most, so it's disappointing, but not a big deal. It's not like we haven't heard them a thousand times.

I saw the show and wished they had cut out "Terre", "Ne Bouge pas". These french rock n roll songs are cringe-worthy, and when Celine invited the audience to sing along to Ne Bouge Pas with the lyrics displayed on the screen in big caps I almost

Was POL last note live or lip synched. Here's the thing that kinda shocked me. If the last note was lip synched, Celine didn't seem to give a care in the world if the audience discovers it. She actually came forward closer to the front and center stage to perform these notes, instead of going back where she couldn't be seen easily. I'm sure people sitting close to the stage knew.

All I know is that for the most part, they look awfully gaudy. Not a fan.

If they are real and not costume jewelry, then I think you can buy a house... or two from the net worth!

 

 

Not a fan of the outfit! Not cos it's bad per se, but it's an almost identical copy of the AND 2007 outfit. I love Law, but he needs to look at the stuff Celine wore at previous concerts, so the outfits he picks aren't similar to them!

I so much agree. As a suit without a skirt it works, as a skirt without a suit it works..but wearing them on top of each other does not work at all.

Is the concert in quebec outside again? I think that if they are planning to film it- the concert is done in dark venues and so was all the staging and light effects planned for inside use. Such a shame if they would film only the outdoor stage where there is not total darkness, no ceiling to hang that light effect part on.

But if it is the case at least we have the concert on dvd then.

The high notes in most English songs are lipped from what I can tell. They sound exactly the same every time, and her facial expression + teeth look different when she's faking it vs. actually singing. Power of Love, Show Must Go On, It's All Coming Back To Me Now. It often feels like various portions of these songs are lipped too, not just the high notes.

 

Pretty fair of her to be strategic and save her voice here and there. Especially on these older English classics in an otherwise French concert.

I don't get it. Why they can't decide for good? For every two shows in Montreal she has worn something different. I prefered the European leg when they stuck to one thing. It was much more coherent

It wouldn't matter. As you are from The States, you would be blindfolded and forced to wear earplugs during the non-English numbers at the concert. Silly American. French isn't for U.S. residents!
