Man she knows how to go on and on tonight! I wish she would slow down and lose the accent so I could understand what she's saying and translate it in my head :giggle:

 

darnit and if she would talk about buying train tickets at the station or giving directions to the cathedral then all those darn french lessons would've been worth it.. why does no one ever teach you the french word for corn and frog :confused1: :angry: :P

Best outfit so far by FAR, this would be perfect for a DVD. its an very photogenic ensemble.

Got to hear from the opening of the show to Immensite, :) ;) <3 and then PQTME but nothing after that. She sounded awesome tonight.

I'd love to see that

 

A reporter who went to the show at the Bell Centre said she "massacred" the lyrics to MHWGO. I couldn't find a video...

 

I know she's said recently she isn't concerned with her voice being perfect or remembering all the lyrics.

It's called improv, darlin'

Well that's an overstatement if I ever heard one!

She sang 'once' instead of 'near'... that's it (or the other way around, don't quite remember). Hardly a 'massacre'!

I don't like that new outfit. She looks quite "naked" when she takes off the jacket and I think it's quite inappropriate and uncalled for. Moreover, something is wrong with the hair, it doesn't look as great as it used to (bad styling, looks quite fatty, why?) Edited by ryba

Long day but best day ever :wub:

 

I was there early to be at Accueillons Céline (Let's welcome Céline) in the afternoon. I was able to give her a

gift and get my very first autograph (OMG! OMG! :w00t: ). It was soooo freakin' hot outside but she stayed with

us for nearly an hour. I got a sunburn, my face is red as an overdone lobster lol!

 

And the show... It was magical. The crowd was over excited and Céline was very happy to see us. She talked

a lot, which I love because she is hilarious (this is what was missing at the Une seule fois concert, the talking).

The only thing I would get rid off are the cheesy images in the background while she sings.

P.S. The VIP package is totally awesome!

 

Had a lot of fun and I didn't think it was possible to love her more than what I already do!

Towards the end of the show, she came close to the edge of the stage to talk to people,

so I decided to get closer (with 30 other people lol!)

 

I will remember this day and night for the rest of my life. Céline is so generous and talented, it's insane.

Did you get a m&g opportunity thanks to the VIP package? I know It was around $1000 so...

 

I like this new outfit :) And I'm jealous that she got off the stage exactly where I was standing on July 7th :'(

I'm still convinced that she wants to re-live her 'D'eux' days. The fact of doing a concert with most of the songs in French, her short hair, her long coat for the beginning of the show... And I just love it!

Does anybody know what happened during the last chorus of MHWGO? Celine was sitting on the edge of the stage and then got down and hugged somebody. Who was that?

Looked like a youngster was holding her hand, then celine decided to jump down and give her a hug instead of finishing the song!

wow, so happy for you! That was really an amazing experience!

 

I saw her live in 2008 in Munich during the TC world tour and the concert was so rushed. I felt like she literally rushed through the concert. She did her songs and left the stage. That was it. Very little talking, 99% was the scripted standard speech, which was such a shame. So I'm very happy that it is changing now :)

Yes I noticed the same thing! It was totally sweet of Céline, I'm so glad she takes time out of her concerts to do things like this!

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

Oh my god, that was so emotionally powerful and touching! The moments was very sincere indeed, but even the way she sang it here - there was so much true emotion. Definitely one of the best MHWGO performances since August 2015 which's my all time favorite. I'll definitely miss this in Vegas because watching the old vids from "Celine" (end of 2015 - beginning of 2016)... It's not even close

I think that this is EXACTLY what defines a true artist...beyond the stage and the costumes and the publicity and the number of records sold...the emotion and the true reason behind everything they do. THAT's why Celine Dion is who she is. She's true and genuine through and through. And it shows in everything she does.

 

Hats off to one of the very very few TRUE artists out there.
