I would do maybe covers for the english album. But to witness her last night, with everything that is going on in her life, was just awe inspiring. What a woman she is. Make no mistake, this was THE show of her life! The opening IDAN video was well done but they showed different footage on all 3 screens so it was hard to see it all. Also nothing really happened with the red balloon idea. Still its a neat idea and was done well. I could not believe when I heard the opening notes of I Surrender, it was awesome and great to have a Celine song open the show! The ovation she received afterwards was amazing and the speech she gave was heartfelt. We then went into Where Does My Heart Beat Now but now without the Jay Leno introduction. Because You Loved Me followed and was just stunning and it felt like Celine was singing it for the first time, she meant every word. We had the usual sing along at the end of the song. It was then into the IACBTMN/TPOL medley with the arrangement sounding different and then intro in particular I loved! Mr Paganini and the French jazz song followed and although both were great they didn't really fit with the show any more. It feels like the show has moved on from this. Then it was an emotional The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face with family footage shown in the screen throughout and René receiving applause whenever he appeared. Before the song Celine told the crowd to imagine the screen as a giant iPad lol. Next up was the holograms section and I couldn't believe me ears when I heard Immortality! This just works so well and to have Celine walk through the crowd was an added bonus. A brilliant touch having footage of the Bee Gee's on the screens too. All The Way followed and this HAD to be in the show tonight and Celine sounded great singing it. Then it was a great new surprise as Celine revisited If I Can Dream with Elvis. Again it was brilliantly done. After the song Celine talked to the crowd as she walked from backstage and met her singers on stage saying to them "you are not illusions are you? You are real people right?" Brilliant lol. It was then into the acoustic set which for me was then highlight of the night. To hear A New Day Has Come, That's The Way It Is and I'm Alive again and in this was was brilliantly. So refreshing and this section must stay in the sbow. Please don't ever drop this section! The improv during the guitar issue was also amazing. Unplanned and unscripted, a true professional. We then had Incredible and its great to have a song from the latest album in the show even if its not my personal favourite. The crowd also seemed to love it. Then the back up singers sung Unison in its entirety before Celine reappeared and rocked the house with Love Can Move Mkuntains. I know people think it's had its day but I love it and Celine does too. It was then into a brilliant performance of River Deep Mountain High before slowing things down with All By Myself. Delighted they have mixed up the ending of the show for the first time in years and for me ABM sounded fully live and amazing! She brought the house down! We then had a frankly stunning version of The Show Must Go On and whoever came up with this arrangement is a genius. Celine sounded amazing and the words were so apt for tonight. Next up was the unexpected Prince tribute with Kiss and Purple Rain both of which she nailed but why no With This Tear if paying tribute to Prince? Also I didn't like that Purple Rain was the last song before MHWGO. It was amazing to see and hear Celine immitate the guitar again though. Then the showstopper, My Heart Will Go On. I don't think many, if any, of us were expecting this live and it was FULLY live! It gave such new life to the song and you could feel her emotion singing it and of course the water screen effect was stunning. The show closed with a highly emotional performance of Over The Rainbow. An excellent choice and Celine nailed it! A simple and effective arrangement and a great way to bring the curtain down on Celine's triumphant return to this spectacular venue. I think this was my favourite ever Celine concert and I can't wait to do it all over again on Sunday So glad you had such a good time. And thank you SO MUCH for posting last night - I was glued to your Twitter and Facebook pages and loved following it live! 1

She put so much emotion into it with her voice it was an amazing new rendition of the song with new meaning put into it...breathtaking last night! 4

But you "can please all of the people all of the time" as Celine has wisely said many times. Taste is subjective and I disagree with you on this one. It was an absolutely perfect performance, you could really feel the emotion and tell she was singing it to Rene. I felt the same with I Surrender too, that song lyrically is just so fitting right now. Amazing. Glad she's back! 1
