I think one day she should "knock our socks off" and do a whole vegas show in french; thinking back to the une fille quatre types concert she did in like 2004 with jean-jacques (? not sure of the date). If the french song in the show last night was quand ca balance- she did that song in the eighties as part of a medley. . . .

I love that she was so real - one thing that always rubbed me the wrong way was the rehearsed script. But this show had none of that. She spoke from the heart and it showed. The guitar tuning ad-lib, the shout out to Rene (oh, I melted...) Absolutely loved the orchestral arrangement of Show Must Go On, hugely appreciate her tackling Prince, very very glad Mr. Paganini is still in the show (love it!!) and was impressed by the unusual choice of Quand ca balance. I'd cut Incredible (because I always felt it was a dreadful, boring song) but other than that I thought it was a rather strong set list. My only long-standing gripe is that there's only 1 French song in these Vegas shows. The French catalogue is why I love Celine. The English I could generally leave or take. She's just so much more real en francais, so much more of a true artist rather than just a singer. It makes me sad that those beautiful French songs are so rare for her in live performances these days. But, bottom line, so wonderful to see her back and handing all this with such class and poise. Respect. 3

Swap out Incredible for LMBTL or SLS (Incredible didn't live up to it's name for me [not vocally, just everything about the performance really]). Barnev still has BATB and his own segment. Replace the French song for her own song. that is the only suggestions I would have to offer for a better show... but really, if we get the show we get tonight because Celine is happy singing these songs, that is fine with me. It truly was extraordinary. I don't understand why most of the interludes must be non-Celine songs. Even if she doesn't sing Unison it's great to hear it again... they should do something similar before Mr. Paganini. I guess that's a Las Vegas's show compromise,to use other songs.It seems they came back to the 90s with Celine asking the crowd to sing the last verse of BYLM (just like during the FIY tour) and her performing an acustic medley (what a medley!!!!!!) such as in ACDS. After The Beatles, The Bee Gees and Queen, just like in all her last tours, she sings two covers of Prince... never thought I could find an enjoyable version of Purple Rain. She's the best. I Surrender is a big surprise. It's the most beautiful performance of this song so far both vocally and musically, a version that's pretty much like the AND one but without the screams at the end. Open Arms was a much better opening and fitted the curtain drop better but we already have a studio version and professional video of this song so the change it's ok. Am I wrong or in WDMHBN the strings can hardly be heard?...it sounds more pop than before. Every time she sings Immortality she creates something magical and emotional. The orchestra fits very very well. Love the little changes in BATB (the last part is amazing) and love the huge changes in MHWGO... she sings "whenever" instead of whispering it softly, and that's good. Same thing happens in BYLM. They're still betting on Incredible...this songs deserves a big chorus. She could do a duet with one of hers female background singers. I'm not a fan of any of the IACBTMN live performances. The medley is amazing. Love how the use the acustic guitar. TTWII gives me chills. She was great. She was true. She way beyond perfection. She was Celine. 1

Celine coming back has made me come out of the shadows! But, I am an old fan ( same age as Whitney Houston would be).
