Apparently, according to a fan that attended the Dutch listening party this evening, they could see the collector's box set and there's no DVD Why add a picture with that extra cardsleeve thing, and then remove it? :pinch:

Can you tell us about the songs that were really good? How was plus Qu'Ailleurs? I am dying to know how the opening song sounds!!

Actually I don't remember much which song belongs to what title. I know one of the bonus songs, a vous or ma force, which one, I don't know, was very uptempo, with lots of trumpets. I was getting a Lets get loud feeling �� loved it. And there was a song which I thought Trains 'bruising' was starting. L'etoile was kind of Je lui dirai and retiens moi style, with giutars, very happy song.

Sorry I can't give you more info, I forgot so much already and I'm not so good in describing my song feelings and about songstyles in English. But its a great album for sure!! Some more info: No making of DVD Notebook.was just blank pages with lines. As if they think we want to write in something expensive like that I loved the package anyway, but the vinyl was really the eyecatcher. Looked awesome!

the "funny" thing is that they at first they added a photo without it, then they added and then they removed it... brainstorming!

I think it had something a French bistro sound, relaxed beginningand I liked it, but remembered not so much from it. So I think it didn't impressed me much But think that's jst a matter of taste. Why do they always put a notebook in it? Why? I rather have 4 neverseenbefore pics from that shoot than a notebook.

 

Anyway, you think we will ever get that dvd? We know it exists otherwise they wouldn't include that picture.

 

I have hope they will put it at the november reissue, but then again, we were supposed to get reissues of TC and LMBTL but that never happend haha

I think I'm going to take LP+cd since it seems it includes bonus songs (or only LP does and its cd not?)... cause I don't need bracelets, nor a standard version without 3 songs...

since you were able to go to all the show in Paris, i doubt that you don't have the means to buy the deluxe album. The album... WOW!

 

Hard to give a judgment after only 1 listen, but my first impression is quite positive. If I have to describe it, it sounds pure and organic. Also quite Quebecois and a bit "rootsy". Don't find it overproduced at all. I can see why they postponed the album, it's magical and very personal. The Zaho songs really stand out, I love them! One of them should definately be the next single!

 

And Les yeux au ciel... wow

 

The album sounds small and big at the same time.
