I've uploaded a very rare concert from the LTAL tour, Live in Osaka 1999. Recorded on January 29, 1999 at the Osaka Dome in Osaka, Japan. I first saw this show for sale on eBay about 20 years ago but I missed out and never saw it again. Over the years I wondered if I was dreaming or if I was just mistaken. But then by luck I found it on a specialist music store in Japan a couple of weeks ago and had it shipped over! So here it is, after all these years:

Includes a really fun performance of "Watashi Wa Totemo Shiawase Ne" in Japanese. Hope you like it!

They really should bring back that music from the intro to this concert (that we hear in the first 35 seconds). It is so beautiful and atmospheric!

Didn't think there was any more recordings from this tour. I have searched like a maniac through the years to find more from LTAL tour but only found a few.

Wow awesome I hope there will be more! And the recording was really good quality. And for lack of new material or songs in general old performances in her prime is very appreciated. Don't get me wrong she sings many songs great in present day but hearing from this era is so awesome because everything sounds so effortless.

Strange thing about this song... I had a video of this song on my channel, and it was taken down by copyright claim... The weird thing is that the warning was like a released song... "Is Nothing Sacred by Celine Dion - SME"....

 

Well, I hope they are planning to release a rarities album with it....

Since this version is way better than the album version, I hoped it was officially released at least in the uk on physical cd and streaming services. Do we know anything more about this remix?

I don't understand why we don't have an official recording of the LTAL tour, the English part sohws, it was her best selling album of the year, she was everywhere and they didn't record anything.

For me the clips aren’t showing, they’re just a big white square and has been since the iPhone update from over a year or two years ago? With the passing of the amazing Olivia Newton-John, I was struck by all of the beautiful things people have said about her. So many celebrities and friends of Olivia said that she was always such a humble, kind, generous, talented, gorgeous human being.

 

It made me reflect a bit on Celine... and how she is also all of those things. She has always been a good person first and foremost... and all the show business stuff isn't as important to her. What really matters to her is leading with kindness, never saying a bad thing about another person, being a great mom, etc.

 

I miss her, and I hope she's healing.

Well, I've uploaded another great unreleased show from the LTAL tour - Live in Anaheim 1998! this one was recorded in Anaheim, Orange County on October 22, 1998. It's great to have more shows from early in the tour because we get more performances of All By Myself! :whee:

It's missing much of the "dubstep" arrangement in the chorus and this makes the song nicer, more soft. Closer to the firsts las vegas live versions which sound like a typical Celine ballad.

No, it's an alternative edited mix.

Her background vocals are much more noticable in this version. The vocals are more dominant rather than the music. In the official album version the sound dominates. I really like this version. But Nortons comment about the carrot on her mic was rude AF. Edited by ryba

I wonder why they provided that version only to the BBC 2 radio station. It’s not available nowhere else, not even on the physical single. Edited by ryba

It's a pity cause it's an alternate mix that's worth having. Perfect for rarities or compilations even in this digital era.

Madonna released a Remix album this year and Mariah a Rarities album in 2020 , so yeah a Remix or Rarities album /Collector's Series 2 would be great.

Yeah totally agree. Getting a release from american tour would been awesome.

And from the bootlegs I have heard she sounded better in the american tour than she did in the show released from France.Although that arena is pretty iconic or famous so I can see that as a reason like isn't that France equivalent to Englands Wembley, idk.

But I guess they (Sony or other label) probably have recording or video from all concerts in some basement, sadly.

I have read this one did exist don't remember when I read it though.

Also I have realized after hearing 98/99 shows how much better the band is playing compared to present or the last years in general. Sound way more engaging and fun. At present her band sounds boring and routine and ande could as well get rid of the band and have the studio track as the music.

Rosie uploaded a video with Celine performing MHWGO and a short interview after the performance to her YouTube channel. :wub:

 

Perhaps my favorite performance of MHWGO! Love her whispering tone at the beginning, and high notes during the climax are so powerful.
