So I made two edits of Loved Me Back To Life from the stems they released. It's identical to the original except for the climax of the song. I wanted it to sound more like the live versions.

 

I basically tried to re-create this live version with the studio version:

Great idea! I prefer the first edit for the pace of the song, although I like how the guitar picks up her ...I wanna call it howling... in the second edit, its just without that "the wait is over!" the song feels to me like it's missing something.

 

The only issue I have with the first cut is at 2:57-2:58 where one of the vocal tracks sounds like its been muted a little too abruptly.

 

But yes, this is great!

Thanks! I agree with everything you said. In the climax of the song when she goes "yeeeeeeah" there's another "yeeeah" layer on top of that in just one stem. So there is no graceful way to edit it out or make it smoother. Also, right after that part she goes on to sing "liiiiiiife, liiiife, from the coma" which comes so quickly and it's feels a bit abrupt remove it, but that had to be cut to make these versions.

 

I did make a bunch of different versions before I settled on this. It's also hard to chose where to add back her vocals, and decide what makes sense and what doesn't, but it was fun to give it a try.

In the BTS of this LMBTL song. In the climax part 2:50, you can hear the "Life, Life.." a bit like of Sia's demo but in the album version it was cut.

I think Sia's version is much better. It has this effect in the chorus part that oomphs the 2nd "You loved me back to life" 2:22.

So I was watching Star Academy epsiodes on YouTube and there's this one season, the contestants are embarrassing to watch. I don't know how they made it here but they can't sing at all. Especially the tall shy guy even though i find him attractive but he can't sing. No energy at all lol

It's been a while since I've watched clips from her tours in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Is it? The video isn't available in the US. I don't see anything about the song being included on another album on the discography site, which is usually pretty good about that.

Yes. The album cover says "It's time for love (my christmas)" with a couple on the front. Seems like another holiday album. Many songs from Celine are included on various music samplers called "Kuschelrock" in Germany. Like BYLM in that case

That wasn’t 2016 BBMAs that was before singing WDMHBN on her February return to Vegas after Rene passed away, it was a live Facebook feed also the same night she broke down during ABM.

As a non-native English speaker I've always wondered which traits of an accent are generally considered "cute" or equivalent to native speakers. I really like the way Céline delivers her phrases, she has her own identity when it comes to that and I admire it so much.

Have you guys heard about this girl Charlotte Awbery? She went viral last year when someone asked her to "finish the lyrics" when she was on the subway.

 

Here is a video of that, and afterwards she was invited to Ellen to sing it live. I really love her version of Shallow.
