I so miss proper long-form interviews like this.

Ellen is a nice option, but not for a deep interview I guess. They always go in her show

In anticipation of the upcoming tour, and to tide myself over until the album is out, I’ve been watching old concerts of hers. I hadn’t seen the Millennium Concert in I don’t know how long. At least 5 years. Probably 10 since I actually sat and watched it in its entirety. I was there that night. First time I was ever on the floor at a Celine concert. In my memory, it was a very magical night. I’m glad to see that it held up on the rewatch. MHWGO is beautiful and makes a great opening. She was still actually singing LCMM then. All of the duets, including with Bryan Adams, are fantastic. (Oh, except for that guy who sand WIFIL with her.) Bruno Pelletier with her on LBDB - WOW! Still gives me chills. It seems to me that the entire thing is live other than, ironically, “Live (For the One I Love)” She has to take a breath in the long note of ABM (the last time she ever actually sang it live?) but sounded great.

Ok - I finally took the time to go through the Celine content that I was able to digitize from my VHS tapes before my VCR quit working. I don't think I've ever seen this VH1 Artist of the Year special on YouTube. I can't find it with a quick search. So this may be really rare or it may be old hat to some people. Just in case, I'm sharing it here below. Maybe it's something rare that can whet people's appetite/give something people to focus on during this final week lead up to the tour beginning. I've also got the entirety of the 2002 Divas Las Vegas which I seem to always have difficulty finding on YouTube. Will look into uploading that next.

I pulled up YouTube from my app on my smart tv, and I can still see them on there. You have to look under uploads and it shows them from most recent uploads onwards and D’elles still shows for me (I can’t play it cause I’m in US), but I can still see it listed..
