I actually never dicovered her pre-90s albums, because it felt so far away and because I don’t speak French Back when I became a fan, ten years ago already, her early albums didn't really interest me that much (not even the Celine Dion album!). It wasn't until a full year passed by that I really started to watch live performances of her hits from the 80's and to discover her musical origins. I also watched some TV specials (there's almost one for each album from Les Chemins De Ma Maison to Unison). Those were the days I totally recommend C'est Pour Toi to you, all of the songs were written by Eddy Marnay (as you know, Céline's very first collaborator for song lyrics). Plus there are some epic gems, like Pour Vous (dedicated to her fans), C'est Pour Vivre (which features a huge choir) or the title song of the album itself, C'est Pour Toi. I guess you could start by watching Céline Dion in Concert, which was filmed during the C'est Pour Toi Tour and is available on YouTube, and the C'est Pour Toi TV special as well. I admit this album is probably the one that sold the least in her entire career, but man, it hides so many treasures inside. Thefe is much more going on in the song. When you hear it sounds simple but it is not. This version, this karaoke version did not reach that in my opinion.
