There are reasons songs are blocked in certain places, as are certain live performances. There are licensing laws, Copyright owners, issues with copyright and or copyright owners, certain jurisdictions, people who own rights to certain things and dont allow them to be put up for free... i wouldnt say it’s ridiculous to assume they wouldnt block them if there werent good reasons

No. They excluded Celine & Clive’s names in the title as has been done for the rest of her videos. It’s a consistency issue, and looks sloppy to me.

Trust me, this isn’t a licensing issue. At least not for all 34 videos that are currently blocked in the U.S. I’m aware of how music contracts work. That isn’t the case here, though.

I find it weird how they posted the audio videos for When I Fall in Love and Have You Ever Been in Love, when we already had the music videos for them. Yet, they didn't post the audio videos for some of her songs that already had music videos, and were bigger hits!

Looks like everyone's jumping on the Céline renaissance bandwagon. Just saw that this interview from the LMBTL era was reuploaded to Dr. Oz's YT channel a few weeks ago. Great interview. She's very eloquent here:

Honestly, I’d rather see them upload audio videos to songs like “Taking Chances” and “Falling Into You.” Not everybody all the time wants to hear the music video dialogue, sound effects, etc. when listening to said songs.

I don't get Sony uploading her old CD's on her channel YEARS after everybody listen to these songs elsewhere, I mean that will only get a few thousands views and thee ae not even the full album...just don't get it

My guess for why they are uploading her back catalogue to YouTube is to monetize the public’s streaming of her music via the service. After all, streaming is where the money is at these days. Plus, the upload notifications help keep her in the public’s eye, and remind people about her music. It’s a win-win.
