Maybe that's why they dropped the initial concept of the video, to make Celine play the role herself, which she did in the final version! (Maybe they wanted to take the easy road and wanted to shoot scenes with her only singing while a couple tells a story, but then they made Celine be the woman who plays her own role). Quote

I doubt the uploads have anything to do with the upcoming tour’s setlist choices. After all, I highly doubt they’d include something like “Les cloches du Hameau” even if its YouTube numbers were stellar. It probably has more to do with generating revenue via streams, and diverting web traffic to her official pages. Quote
