Ive seen the videos.

Lcmm and rdmh are live same lacksadaisical version where she dodges original way of singing with lasy nuances that sound dreadful.

At 17 is live, but those who are members here that attend said it was a snooze fest with the crowd.

Bylm live, but who cares home for holidays was the next week and pro shot. That was 10/10.

Mhwgo intro live. Song lipped. Why follow suit with usual lipping? Lazy.

The reason lipped. What was the purpose of showcasing an obscure fan favorite only to lip?

Water and a flame live - but the background singers or the music or both sounded oddly louder than her mic. Otherwise this is the best part i suppose.

Lmbtl lowered key live...so just ehh.

Abm high note lipped like always. Rest who cares but live.

Tpol and iacbtmn lipped as usual. Nothing but a space filler.

 

Im sorry but there are definitely many other shows worthy of putting on a dvd over this. We've seeen in 2016 tour how fast they can put together a unique setlist with little time. With that in mind there really isn't much that stands out in this copy and paste show. Whenever we get a dvd it meand were that much more less likely to get another dvd again for something else. Why waste one on this is all I'm saying.

2) She doesnt dodge the original way of singing, she changed it. Singing the song the exact same way for 21 years is boring duh. No lazy nuances and also not dreadful

 

3) Okay so Because You Loved Me doesnt count as it didnt have a pro shot ? Thats just silly

 

4) She always lipped it, why would she just go “okay ill sing MHWGO live right now for no reason when i lip it every other time”, and to call her lazy literally get out shes the complete opposite

 

5) The Reason is hardly obscure, she performed iit every show in Vegas for 3 and a half years. Plus, extremely hard song to do for a one off concert when she had more promo and shows coming up.

 

6) “The Rest Who Cares” now youre just being rude.

 

7) TPOL/IACBTMN are two of her biggest hits, it makes tons of sense to do them. Just because its a small show doesn’t mean they all want to hear her sing her most obscure songs of all time, theyre hits for a reason.

 

8) Whilst it may be similar to Vegas, it was very interesting to see Celine in such a different environment and she was alot more natural and “comfortable” than in Vegas.

Also what i stated is my opinion so who are you to bash me for saying so? Im sticking to my original point. The concert provided nothing special to warrant a dvd. Half of your argument against my point is nothing more than pure semantics. Laughable at best.

Since its about opinions...

1- LMBTL was not on the original key... it's so easy to notice.

2- sorry these songs were so boring on this concert... idk if she wanted to make it different or just laziness... (Nowadays i like it more the way she does this than back at the time.. sounded boring)

3-BYL became so boring as well... well i agree that the pro shoot saved it all ( from the xmas thing)

4- Why "the reason" is was gonna to be lipped? its a pocket show! i dont care but... not a good choice to me.

5- if she started MHWGO LIVE, why not to do the full song? at the time i thought and i still think its coz it was easier to lipp. kinda laziness.

6- the only thing i liked about the concert was that it was intimate.. and different from boring vegas

 

this is just my opinion... it was good... the only really great thing was MHWGO intro.

but not for a dvd.. i think they removed the official videos of the concert from her vevo ( if im not wrong they put it on her vevo at the time)

Thank you for the spanish translation. This is by far ,in my point of view of course, their best interview. They talk about so many different subjects. I love to see them together, yes we can see that they were very close. I thought it was adorable that Celine was always touching and caressing him. They were always great and happy together.

See that is the problem. People who don't think a negative perception should be allowed. To say the concert was poor is not to bash celine. It was lame as can be. One of her worst. I stand by that and if that criticism means im bashing celine in your eyes then i can only assume even a mirror would offend you.

 

Anyone here knows i love celine. Just because i expect more of her than lipping mhwgo at an intimate concert or performing lcmm for the 585858th time does not mean i don't love her. People become disappointed in ewch other all the time. As an example, I have no doubt at some point your mother found disappointment in you? Did she love you less? Hoppefully not!

 

I love to express both spectrums of my praise and my disappointment because to me it is more interesting to post and read about.

seems so. Still think it sounds not half as energetic as live. And maybe it is because i listen to it on my ipad but the orchestra sounds a little bit muffled and the volumelevel is too low and not feeling one with Celine’s polished vocal. It really sounds like she is singing along with the karaoketrack. I miss the feeling of Celine her voice feeling one with the orchestra. Now it is - Celine in front and orchestra quite a distance behind her.

In the 90s mixing her voice with the music always sounded perfect but nowadays i really miss that.

That’s what you called “blending with the music” not being too forward like what hear now. They really love céline’s voice to be forward then they will auto tune it. That’s not good.

For years I’ve wanted Celine to do a one off acoustic set - like the MTV Unplugged shows. And we know she could still hit certain notes in certain songs, but with it being acoustic she can rework stuff, it doesn’t have to be so bombastic or in your face kind of notes. She can easily do that.

That's what the Edison concert could have been. Instead we got vegas .9 ...normally i would say 2.0 but that makes it seem like it was improved upon which wasn't the case.

I was watching this video from her last tour, as usual suprised by how great she is. This last song was incredible. My French is now good enough to understand the lirics, however at 5:00 she says that she loves something or someone. I didn't quite understand what she said, could anyone please help me? Thanks a bunch
