I wonder if this song is really meant to be a solo version not a duet. Because i remember that time they picked Peobo Bryson as a duet with Céline because Céline wasn’t that popular that time..

Thats simply not true. They had already selected Peabo way before it was made a duet. They actually hired another girl but Celine came in last minute to do a demo and it became a duet WITH Celine only after Peabo insisted

Whatever you got that article its false. Peabo said himself he was on the original and they were auditioning for a female duet partner and it was between Celine and another girl. In all honesty its been proven before you haven’t always got the best facts and this is further of that. Its not an attack on you its simply saying that you believe somethings when they arent correct or accurate.

Peabo and Alan menken spoke on it in an interview relating to the release of the new BATB. It was also spoken about by Angela Lansbury in 1992 when they asked her for LANOW
