When I listen to the original recording, I sort of understand the critics who accuse her of singing mechanically -- hitting all the notes perfectly and powerfully, but without feeling. Most of the time, I think that's not a fair criticism, but I see it for this song. (When I was younger, I didn't feel that way at all about this song, but I do now. I think it's something you either hear or you don't). I don't think this song has much emotional resonance for her, and maybe that's why she hasn't performed it in years. I think she always performs best the songs that have a personal connection. I like WFTM but some of the lines I hate. "What do I gotta do" and "do I gotta get" makes me 😠. Just such bad English. Love the rest of it though. Agree with you though,I've never found it an emotional song. 3 Quote

(I'm sure they were unavailable in other countries, too.) Anyway, these 2 videos are below. (Only 18 more to go! LOL) They are promotional videos from about three years ago when Celine's website was doing something special for motherhood. It's nice to see an obscure song from "D'elles" getting some recognition. I do admit to liking "Berceuse." The English version of the promotional campaign used "Goodbye's (The Saddest Word)." I find some of the footage with Rene to now be heartbreaking. My heart is truly with them.
